We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back north. The hotel is lovely and the rooms very comfortable, the restaurant was closed whilst we were there but the bar serves a nice selection without needing to go out. The hotel is ideally positioned to visit Annecy or do what we did and visit Mont Revard with outstanding views of the lake right next to the hotel, the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The breakfast buffet is good with enough choice to fill you up and there’s coffee available in...

We celebrated birthday and hotel made it really memorable.

Our second stay at Le Pelican. Perfectly located for Annecy Old Town. The hotel has “all you require” for a holiday stop over.

Excellent small hotel. Great staff. No evening dining facilities but the small bar is available. Good location for metro.

It is a beautiful property in a perfect location . However, having been an abbey the rooms overlooking the lake were very small and cramped for two people. There is no lift due to planning restrictions - this should be made very clear on the website and booking platform, as those with mobility problems would find it almost impossible.

Excellent

Beautiful stay, the staff was very friendly and the setting was beautiful

Loved our stay, we arrived very early & were allowed into our room after a brief wait and a complementary coffee in the wonderfully relaxing garden. I see other people saying the hotel is a bit far from the city but in our experience it was great with the excellent public transport service available we were in the city centre in under 25 mins. The staff were all very helpfull and friendly, when back in Lyon we’d definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a good location not to far from the main train station and close to the Metro. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. The staff were welcoming & helpful and there was free water/ coffees/ sweets in the foyer.

Hotel Des Eaux is a converted mansion set about 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and about 25 minutes from the lake. Although set on quite a busy road, there is little or no noise from traffic overnight. Easy parking on site. We were welcomed by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist who spoke good English. She took the time to accompany us to our room and made sure everything was good. Room was spacious with high ceiling , a good king bed and a good size shower room and a separate...

Was a comfortable stay. One thing I will say is, states breakfast included, So we was shocked that we was told only adults, children was not allowed to eat breakfast, and we would have to pay for them separately. By someone who was working the breakfast area, Which is terrible, as we included all children on our booking. So every person should have be able to have breakfast. This I do think is appalling, so gave our breakfast to our kids everyday. And there was a bad smell coming from the...

Clean and comfortable rooms. We slept amazingly

Lovely family run hotel. Our family suite was spacious with an upstairs sleeping area perfect for our teenager. Lovely breakfast in the garden. Pleasant pool area. Excellent stay.
