Love the room, will come back

I have no legs and was charged for a resort fee of $300 for something that was closed..No hot no nothing,.but LOVED the hotel.

The rooms were super large, lots of space. Water pressure in showers was so great, super hot water. The rooms were a bit outdated which we knew ahead of time. Overall good hotel.

Everything was pretty good! Friendly staff, easy check in. Free self parking that is close to the ruby tower that our room was in. Room is large at 700sqft, the shower is big with good water pressure, and the bath tub is surprisingly deep and wide - very comfortable. The gym is excellent. The distance from the strip isn’t bad at all, a 15min walk if you don’t want to deal with uber. The cons was that I thought I booked a room with a view towards the strip, and instead the view was the parking structure 100ft away. If your room is in the ruby tower I guess you have to make sure it’s a corner room or at least at the 10th level to not just see the parking structure, which can be hard to know when you’re booking on Expedia. Another con is that there is no fridge or microwave if you happen to have leftovers or food items to store. The only fridge is one filled with snacks/drinks that’ll be charged at a 800% mark up if moved at all. Also it seemed all the pools were closed.

Check in was a breeze. Got to check in 4 hours early. Upgraded to strip view suite. Grabbed a last minute reservation at Alle 66, staff was great. Next morning hit up the Awana spa for couples fountain of youth package. Incredible. Staff was super helpful and guided us on how to do everything. Lunch at VIVA was amazing. Happy hour $6 beers?! Yes please. We ordered the entire 6 item happy hour food menu and everything was fabulous. Next morning we hit up Juniors for breakfast before heading out. Delicious low key diner vibe. Loved the Conrad. Will be back. Great home base for a Vegas trip.
