"Room serviced every day to a good standard. Evening meals where good and the roast dinner was great value and very nice .Breakfast not included if not booked direct so was a bit of a surprise and £12.50 extra seems a bit steep when a short drive up the road is cafe 22 where a full English is only £5.50"

"Breakfast not included so cannot comment. Bar dinner night before excellent, wonderful beer selection with helpful staff offering free tasters to sample. Room was clean, bathroom clean. Special event on main floor really loud, but our room on 3rd floor well out of earshot."

" Arrived a little earlier than check in and didn’t expect room to be ready but did expect to be able to get a drink but bar closed….it was 2pm on a Saturday afternoon!!! Disappointing. Hotel in great location and breakfast was great."

"I upgraded to larger room, it was clean, very comfortable, bathroom clean & functional. Unfortunately my 'upgrade' was a room right next to main corridor door on ground floor, to say it was noisy is an understatement. The biggest issue was not the hotels fault, as the people in the room above were so loud, it sounded like there was a party going on & constantly banging on their floor. The lovely receptionist did kindly go & ask them to stop when I complained at around 9.45pm, which they did, for 10mins then started again until after 11pm. Definitely not what I paid extra for. Not on my list of hotels/motels to ever use again"
