"Great stay. Clean and convenient"

"Very pleased with the hotel itself. It was very clean and looked nice. That being said, I must have been given the worse room in the entire hotel. We got settled in to tge room and turned on the television. The color of picture on each channel was terrible. Every channel had a blue tint to it, everything was basically blue. We couldn’t watch the tv because it hurt our eyes. It was already bedtime so we turned it off and got ready for bed. That’s when everything got worse. The air conditioning unit started squealing it was loud irritating noise. We had to turn the thermostat up to get to kick off. Through the night we had keep adjusting the thermostat because it kept kicking on and the loud noise kept waking us up. By two am we had the thermostat turned up so high and that made the room very hot. We could not sleep pretty much the rest of the night. We probably will not stay at that La Quinta location ever again."

"Our stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Rock Hill was a real letdown, despite being a budget option. The room had a persistent dust problem, and the bathroom was in poor shape—mold was visible above the tub. The coffee maker was completely unusable because a crucial piece was missing, so we couldn’t even enjoy the coffee they provided. The chair in the room was severely worn—honestly, something I’d only keep in a basement, not a hotel guest room. Breakfast was another disappointment. We arrived with an hour before it closed, but they had run out of most items—just a few biscuits left, no gravy, and no effort to restock. I had to ask for fruit, and they brought just a handful of apples. Yogurts were almost gone, and the coffee was completely flavorless. I wouldn’t return here and would strongly suggest others consider the many other nearby options."

"The check-in process was fast and efficient. Our room was clean and well equipped. TV worked fine and channel selection was good. The hotel provided a helpful detailed list of local restaurants with a map. The breakfast buffet was great and the workers pleasant and helpful. The only complaint was the condition of the carpets in the hallway in front of our room door and the adjacent rooms both sides of the hallway. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed in a good while!"
