A must stay, we stayed here during a tour of the south and out of the five places we stayed this was by far our favourite. It is clean, comfortable with a fantastic location and very warm hosts.

Easy to find and check in was quick. Staff were helpful and friendly. The camping pods were cozy and warm with lovely touches including robes. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were also clean and well equipped.

We had a fantastic time here. The cabin was warm, clean and spacious and private with everything we needed to be self sufficient catering-wise. It was fabulous to be able to just step out on the deck to see the Aurora two nights in a row! We'd highly recommend this fabulous accommodation!

Best location at Vik, directly looking at Dyrhólaey Lighthouse and endless black beach with nothing in between to obstruct the view.. Beautifully designed, well organised apartment , very spacious for our family of 3.. Sofa bed was really fancy and comfy as well. Spotlessly cleaned and lots of storage, we enjoyed our 2 nights thoroughly over here..

Amazing Hotel!

Absolutely amazing property in a stunning location with views of the waterfalls and mountains. Perfect size for a family with kids - although for 4 adults it might be a squeeze. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including dish soap and dishwasher tablets. Robes were a nice touch of luxury. The cabin was quite hot on our arrival but it soon cooled after we opened some windows. I did think breakfast was on the expensive side but when I saw what they delivered all became clear! We...

Very quiet location. Stayed at the cottage, was spotlessly clean, heated and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Only thing to keep in mind, in the summer with constant light, the living room sofa is not completely shaded so if you need, be prepared with eye covers. And when the rain is relatively heavy it is well heard.

We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. Loved staying in this beautiful, peaceful hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed sitting in the outside bar area in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and the room was immaculate.
