9/10 Wonderful! (7 reviews)
We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is in the hustle and bustle of the old town. The staff and manager couldn’t be more helpful. The Aircon was good in the bedroom. The roof top restaurant was nice and food was excellent. The building had charm and character. It had been beautifully restored and the furniture was in keeping with its heritage. You need to accept that it’s an old building and isn’t sound proof. If you are a light sleeper you will be woken up by horns and dogs barking. That’s part of its character and location. The location was well placed to explore the majority of the tourist attractions and it was easy to get a tuk tuk if you didn’t want to walk. We were able to check in early but my constructive feedback is the room needed more attention to detail. For example , the Aircon wasn’t on when we arrived so the room was very hot and took most of the day to cool down, The WiFi was not switched on (worked that one out myself) the hot water wasn’t on in the room (tank under the sink) so the romantic stone bathtub was with cold water. The staff were more than happy to help and resolve but for the cost and the professionalism of the manager I would have expected the basics to be right. Maybe we were just unlucky as out of season and only us staying there. We enjoyed our stay but we wouldn’t return based on our experience.

8.2/10 Very good! (23 reviews)
Suite rooms are huge and beautifully decorated. Beds are firm though. Hotel is located in a start district with nice restaurants nearby. Rooms are excellent value for money. Sadly the Barman tried to rip us off by serving a high class wine when we ordered house wine. We had 12 glasses between a group of friends so the price difference was huge so beware. Breakfast was dreadful. Pastries were stale and eggs were full of salt. You’re be better having the Indian curry buffet.

short stay at the Flutes Boutique hotel, very comfortable stay, staff is very nice and helpful. Ms. Barkha at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The rooms are neat and clean. Kettle with coffee/ tea / water is provided daily. Baggage room is available too. Access to the hotel is also very convenient. The area is safe and secure, with public transport and app based transport - Uber/ Bolt available. Room service is also very prompt and available most of the time. Close to the hotel - is the ATM, the telephone SIM card / recharge available, some trinket shops and grocery shops. Also a shopping mall walkable distance. Hotel is perfect and fits the budget and comfortable for solo, business or family travel. Both International and domestic airports are about 25 min away from this hotel, depending on the time of travel.
