"Good parking within the grounds of the house. A very warm welcome. Excellent spotless room, great bed and lovely linen. The owner greeted us, checked us in, showed us into the room, demonstrated how everything worked, offered to help us with dinner plans, taxis, super helpful and welcoming. "

"Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had dinner on arrival and food was good and reasonably priced. We stayed at rooms 207 & 208 which I guess is in the old part of the building so dated as expected but it was clean. Ample parking and located conveniently in the middle of town near shops and restaurants. Overall a very pleasant stay."

"We stayed in a two bed pod. The pod was perfectly clean and suited us perfectly for our short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Small shop on site was useful. The children enjoyed the play area. Would recommend. "

"The self serve check in machines x 2 were not working. No one the front desk, asked the lady managing the bar she said she would be there in a bit, but in the meantime continued to serve new people coming up to the bar, cleaned multiple tables all the time whilst I was waiting just to check in. Once I asked again and she came over to help,! but she was sickly sweet. I just wanted to check in. 20mins later it finally happened. Room was good, had kettle and tea available for the morning. Bathrooms were clean and had shampoo, body wash and hand soap. Check out was a different experience and the man at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. Did not use the restaurant or bar. I would stay again if in the area. Make sure you register your car at check in in the lobby. I had heard of people getting tickets. "

"Was a nice enough stay, cute little rooms off in a separate building, information said was soundproof but the windows/door was to outside so a little thin and let light in - and as it was a gravel area outside people walking/cars parking was quite noisy. The bed was maybe a little short it seemed, feet were basically on the footboard the whole night, but otherwise a very comfy bed. No windows in the bathroom but was nice and spacious. The reception desk wasn't obvious but otherwise it was a nice stay. A nice stay over all, and the food in the restaurant was good, would definitely go back again one day."

"Breakfast menu limited. Parking OK but expensive. Room clean but small and cold - we requested a heater but it didn’t arrive on the first night, so we only had it on the second. Staff were very helpful."

"Excellent place and I can't wait to go back, it was a friendly welcome and its a lovely as described place in a very quiet location. Kitchen is well stocked and stuff is easy to use, sofa and beds were comfy and the place was warm well maintained. "
