"Lovely proper pub with rooms. Friendly and welcoming. Easy checkin. Everywhere spotless including rooms and bathroom. A nice touch was there was a nightshift person who introduced themselves to me and told me to ring anytime if any issues. Breakfast was a tasty, plated-up full English (much nicer than those breakfast buffets with a few grizzled eggs floating around). Will definitely stay there again."

"Room and bathroom newley renovated with lovely linens and fluffy towels provided. It had an ensuite, tea/coffee and kettle, a small fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, table and wardrobe. If you are a light sleeper you might struggle as there was a noise that went off frequently during the night (perhaps related to pub refridgeration or building heating?). Also the roman blinds needed to be put down in the bathroom to use the toilet due to it overlooking the parking space. Otherwise lovely stay and good value...

"The lodge has a lot of potential and is set in a beautiful, peaceful location that’s perfect for a quiet getaway. The surroundings were serene, and the atmosphere was relaxing, which we really appreciated. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. There was noticeable dust on furniture and surfaces, and we found cobwebs in the corners of the room and near the ceiling. It made the space feel less well-maintained than expected.
