What a sweet place and so close to the airport! I needed to check in really early and they were so accommodating. The little cabin I rented was adorable and set in really pretty grounds and they arranged taxi service for me back to the airport. Lovely place!

I left too early for breakfast but had a wonderful $10 meal the evening before. The bungalow was not very big but plenty of room for myself and everything I needed was there. It was wrong, comfortable with DIRECTV and a hot shower. They arranged a $10 taxi ride to the airport, which took less than 15 minutes. The driver was there well before pick up time. Check out was simple and easy. We will be happy to stay there again on my next trip through Quito.

Paid for a single room and I was given a room away from the main House, next to the kitchen and it felt it was a room for their staff versus a client. Room was clean but very basic which for the price $58 (tax included) it should have been less, $20 the most! I felt deceived. The breakfast was nice and the outside grounds pleasant, lots of flowers and nature but not sure how I ended up in this room!

Excellent stay. The staff was so kind and accommodating; we arrived at around midnight and the front desk was kind enough to still sell us waters , then we woke up late and missed breakfast, but the kind lady there still made us a delicious fresh breakfast since there was no one else around. Grounds are beautiful as well. Can’t wait to come back!!

It was a nice peaceful property, close to the airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning would be nice during the day, but at night it was fine. Roosters a little annoying and loud.

Diamond in the rough. 1000% worth it.

Hosteria Airport Garden was like diamond in the rough for us on our way back to the US. We only stayed one night for our layover. Such beautiful grounds to see behind the gated entry-way (seemingly in the middle of nowhere, although it was only a short drive from Quito airport). Beautiful flowers and bird sounds. The 2 staff there that assisted us spoke excellent English and helped with anything we needed (woman at the front desk/in the kitchen was Rosie, I believe and the other man was maintenance and he was so kind, but I can't remember his name). My husband and I rented one of the suites and I think we were the only guests on site (we stayed on a weekday). Everything was very clean and orderly. I wouldve loved to see what the little bungalows looked like inside. The suite was huge with a wonderful jet tub. We had a door right out to the pool area. The dinner/breakfast Rosie cooked was delicious (some of the best food we had our entire trip and great prices). They also set up a cab for us to take back to the airport the next day at very little cost. I would 1000% stay there again.

The property itself is not bad, I booked a room for two of my clients, it is a good place, the lady owner was respectful and courteous. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about her husband, and this completely ruined our experience. I've traveled the beautiful Ecuador, I have rarely encountered such an arrogant and disrespectful attitude from someone working in hospitality. We had a booking issue—something that could have easily been discussed and resolved professionally. Instead, this man approached me, speaking aggressively, and acting as though I had no right to address him as an equal. His attitude was absolutely unbelievable. He seemed to expect submission and special deference simply because of who he believes he is. Hospitality is about respect, communication, and treating guests with dignity—not intimidation, yelling, or trying to establish some imaginary level of superiority. I have spent my life traveling and working in tourism, and I know the difference between a misunderstanding and completely unacceptable behavior. This was not simply poor customer service; it was an unnecessarily hostile and humiliating confrontation. Ecuador is a magnificent country filled with warm, kind, and respectful people. Sadly, this was by far one of the most unpleasant personal encounters I have experienced here. The hotel itself may be acceptable, but no property is worth being treated this way. Based entirely on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. M
