My husband and I had the most outstanding stay. We stayed for 6 nights in total. Throughout the entire stay we felt so at home. Breakfast was a great quality as was the lunches, boxed lunches for trip days and the evening meals. Our room was super spacious, the fire was delightful and made it really cosy. Jessica helped arrange all our guides for hiking and visiting the Cotopaxi area. I would change nothing and would return again if I ever come back. The views were breathtaking and I don’t think the pictures on here really show how great the lodge is or the views, so you have a delightful surprise ahead of you if you book. We saw hummingbirds around the lodge and had really good local liquors to enjoy by the fire a night.

By far the best hotel we stayed at in Ecuador. We had expectations based on pics but the reality was even better. Extremely clean, fabulous staff, very comfortable common area. Easy drive to the volcano.

Incredible place to stay, 2 nights was not enough. Jessica and the team really made me and my family very welcome. Excellent breakfast and dinner with amazing views of the 5 volcanoes and plenty of activities to do in the area. Would love to go back one day.

Great days!
It is a beautiful place where you will enjoy the tranquility, the natural landscape and the warmth of the staff who work there. The logde is far from the road but it is worth it because you really disconnect from everything. The staff is very attentive and always ready to help, I really hope to return sometime with my family when we think about vacations.

Thé Chilcabamba Lodge by far exceeded our expectations!!! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is excellent and the dining room is warm and cosy. The lodge is an eclectic mix of hacienda with modern decor and design. The outside offers stunning views of Cotopaxi as well as Rumiñahui, Pasochoa and Sincholagua. Would definitely go back!

Cannot recommend Chilcabamba enough.
Jesica and her team went above and beyond to provide an excellent 3 night stay with my two young children. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, the food in the restaurant was delicious and local, and all the staff was extremely attentive to anything we needed during our stay. We arranged two day tours (Cotopaxi and Quilotoa) while there and they were excellent and well worth the cost (our guide was fantastic!). This is all not to mention the amazing views from the lodge. You won't regret choosing Chilcabamba!

Beautiful lodge with amazing views of Cotopaxi. Rooms are cold, but have a very cosy wood-burning stove. Great place to explore the park and enjoy the tranquility of the area.

Had a wonderful 3 nights staying at Chilcabamba and exploring the area. The room was spectacular, newly renovated with a view to die for, a wood burning stove was lit for us before we returned each evening. The staff were all so kind and helpful, there are plenty of activities - just ask Jessica!!!! and we ended up having all our meals at the lodge as the food and wine was the best in the area. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful, but otherwise... meh.
The hotel is in a great location with an incredible view of Cotopaxi. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and we loved the house ponchos and community firepit. But the meals left something to be desired. Breakfast (which was included) was small and bland. Dinner (which was a $21 charge) was equally unimpressive. We had some wine we brought with us, and the hotel wanted to charge us a corking fee or else pay to "rent" the corkscrew. I wouldn't stay there again, even for the great view. :(

Absolutely beautiful location. The lodge itself is super cute and comfortable. The communication with the property was easy. The food was delicious. Would definitely stay here again and would love to spend more time relaxing by the fire.

The lodge was like nowhere else that i have ever stayed. It was remote, was in a beautiful setting and felt somewhat magical. Staff were friendly and helpful.

cotopaxi inklusive
wir waren vor 10 jahren schon einmal in der lodge. jetzt wurde sie renoviert und die anlage und unser zimmer sahen super aus. gemütlich mit dem schwedenofen. auch das restaurant wurde renoviert und ist richtig gemütlich. das personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. wir haben sogar von unserem zimmer aus den cotopaxi gesehen.

Awesome stay at the foot of Cotopaxi
We had a wonderful stay although very short near Cotopaxi. The Hacienda as well as its staff is truly lovely. Diner was delicious (we had the lomo). Breakfast is also very good. The hacienda is greatly located and you can truly enjoy the view of the volcano. Magnificient! The owner can organize you a guide or activities in the national park as well as a car to get there or leave. We recommend this place to 150% and wish we can come again!

Schöne Lodge unmittelbar am Cotopaxi-Nationalpark
Die Lodge liegt wundeschön in der Natur. Es herrscht angenehme Ruhe. Der Blick zum Cotopaxi ist beeindruckend. Die Aufnahme verläuft locker und effizient. Das angebotene Essen ist nicht reichhaltig, aber excellent und frisch zubereitet. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Zufahrten sind durchwegs Rüttelpisten, die jedoch von der App "Maps-Me" zuverlässig navigiert werden.

urige Naturlodge am Cotopaxi
Die rund 15 km Anfahrt auf mittelalterlichem Kopfsteinpflaster, das viele Mängel hat, sind eine Herausfor- derung an Fahrzeug und Reiseteilnehmer: aber es lohnt sich! Die Chilcabambalodge war ein highlight unserer Ecuadorrundreise: Natur pur! Einfaches aber ansprechendes Zimmer, vom Gastraum aus liegt der nahe Cotopaxi gut sichtbar im ständigen Blickfeld. Sehr gute Atmosphäre unter den internationalen Gästen, beste Betreuung durch das Renoteam, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Außerdem kocht Boss Reno persönlich und gut.
