"We loved this property but recognize the steep walk up and 55 steps down to our room might not be for everyone. It was just fine for us because the only noise was the sound of waves against the rocks below our room. Also, communication was excellent for us due to problems with Expedia but our hostess patient and helpful. The rooftop patio was lovely with great views of the harbour. The apartment was spacious with very comfortable furniture. "

"Comparing this to a previous stay at a different resort in Cancun and this wasn’t as good. Overall it was good, not great. Food was mediocre and not a ton of options. You only get a limited number of dinner reservations depending on your length of stay. The river next to the property smelled as if it had human waste in it and the smell was overwhelming at times. The property was nice and clean and staff were again good, not great. Was surprised at how few English speakers were visiting and working at the property. 4/5 stars"

"First, I’m going to Puerto Vallarta still at the Malia resort it was a wonderful stay staff was amazing especially the housekeeper Nancy. She was awesome off the hook. She was a 10+ and more very helpful very fast and she cleaned my room every day amazing very friendly. Food was good property. Nice rooms nice."
