"As I said on check-in, this is a lovely old-fashioned family run hotel right on the beach. Reception manned 24/7, all staff helpful, friendly and efficient, free beach towels, nice breakfast, reliable wifi. Those in search of ultra-modern conveniences, who can't live without aircon or sleek contemporary decor, might not like it, but I loved it."

Although we had a bit of a problem checking-in, he more than made up for our inconvenience with his conscientious, affable and charming personality. "It's basic - you get what you pay for - but adequate. Situated a little bit out of things but a 10 minute walk to the small beach and two restaurants. A number 39 bus nearby to get into town, but not on a Sunday. 45 minute walk to town. Helpful staff but reception only open part time. For value for money we can recommend. "

"The first room #16 was totally unacceptable with damp and mold settling around the vent. Not at all what we were expecting. After complaining we were upgraded to the largest room in the hotel which is what we thought we would get in the first place. The best part of the experience was meeting the chef, Olivier Lataste who created sumptuous meals for us. "
