Bad hotel
This hotel was pretty bad. Flat pillows, lumpy and flat mattress. Floors were dirty. If you're looking for a hotel in Put-In-Bay, I suggest you keep looking. If you only need a place to flop after a night of partying, this may be for you.

Very nasty low quality facilities. Bartenders look and act miserable. Woke up at 5am to a beeping noise. It was a truck dropping off a dumpster… 5am on an island in a resort. Absolutely horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The hotel is boring and out dated. They make sure you sign in and out towels for the pool, no service at the swim up bar, you had to get out of the pool and walk over to the other bar. The bathrooms were nasty. Rooms smell like musty mold.

While we were so excited to get to stay on the island, this place was disgusting. The linens were gross, flat pillows, dark, drear rooms.

Room was clean and tidy, but had a very musty smell. Mold spots were all over on the ceilings. We did inform housekeeping of the mold and later that day maintenance started painting our ceiling while all our clothes and things were all exposed. The management said this was a mistake and they were supposed to be painting the room next door. They did move us after we requested a room change. As we were leaving we noticed paint splatter on our suitcase. The Manager wasn’t sure what to do offering a free golf cart for the day; we were leaving and were in the process of checking out. I wouldn’t stay there again, but it was convenient if you want to be in the middle of all the nightlife.

They had bed bug in the room and we literally had to go back and forth with the lady in charge just to get another room because she didn’t think it was a bed big on the cover too I showed her 5 of them in the headboard then she gave us a room after she said she was all booked

I like the location of this hotel. Staff was very friendly. Night time was a bit load, but I also had the first room on the main floor next to the lobby. The bed wasn't very comfy.

The staff was excellent!! Only downside to the property was the limited parking. I would suggest not brining a car, but instead renting a golf cart.

I thought I booked an interior non smoking room. I was given an exterior smoking room. Smelled like smoke. I am not a smoker. Property starting to show its age, the bathroom was mildly horrifying.

Sorry Kathy, We had a pipe break over the Christmas cold front. We have been working hard to get rooms ready that booked and explained to as many as we could about the incident. Hopefully you come again later in the year or in the future as we are very happy with the results.

We do give out kleenex upon request same with extra toilet paper. We removed the phones years ago since most guests if not all have cell phones to contact friends and family.

Worst Stay Ever
This was a great location, you can walk to most businesses; however, the accommodations were beyond horrible. The floor was so filthy the bottom of my feet were dirty walking a couple feet to the shower. The comforter on the bed was literally a curtain, no blanket at all! Bed was not comfortable, squeeked, and lumpy. Music started blaring at 9 am and the walls and floors were so thin you could easily hear those around you.

HI Rodney, Our pool does not open until 10 am on weekends and 11 during the week, so not sure were the music was coming but we did not turn it on. As far as the floors, they are mopped before your arrival, if you did not take off your shoes, like at home, you might have tracked in dirt from outside and or it was on your luggage wheels, which is out of our control. All hotels are going with a top sheet for beds, we do have blankets upon request.

Great location, friendly cooperative staff. The bed was very (ancient mattress) uncomfortable but maybe it was just us. The only thing really bad was that the floors were filthy. The bottoms of my feet were black after walking barefoot. Like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Yuk!!

I really liked this hotel for where it is and the fact that it is adult only. It has no parking ... not even for golf carts, which limits you to the main drag unless you take a bus or walk.

Hi Valerie, Sorry you had a hard time finding a parking space when you were here. We actually own from one road to the next where it is black topped. So yes, very limited parking but there is some on a first come first serve basis with ones that are for golf carts as well.

Disappointed Stay
This hotel stay was very disappointing. The room was very uncomfortable and had a terrible musty/moldy smell to it. The entire room felt very damp, and even our clothes in our suitcases felt damp the next day after being in the room. The bedding was very sparse, mattress was hard and could feel the springs in it, the bathroom was dirty, and the sink faucet leaked constantly. There was no carpeting (I’m assuming because of the moisture issue), and the tile floor was very dirty. We wore our shoes every time we got out of bed. The cost of the room was close to $250 a night, and we stayed two nights. For that amount of money, the accommodations were lousy. The entire place needs updated and fixed up.

Sorry you were disappointed with your stay. Yes it is very humid on the island at times and with people coming and going from the room, probably more then if they were at home it does make it more humid inside the rooms. The same with floors, guests do not take off there shoes when they enter the rooms every time, so they are tracking the dirt from outside in. I will check the faucet for the leak as we were not told about that issue. Thank you.

rooms were extremely dirty. my feet were black from walking around our room without shoes every time. Ants everywhere. you could not even drop a crumb of food on the ground. the beds horrible if your sheet came off and ants all in our beds as well. toliet seat kept coming off and loose everywhere. People that worked there were super nice and pleasant though!!! They just need to put more money into updated rooms and cleanliness

Please let us know how you clean your hardwood floors and tile so we can try something new. The scrub mops we bought this year all broke after multiple uses.

The location of the property is very central to downtown but its difficult to locate. There wasn't any signs to direct us to the hotel. Once we got to our room it smelled really strange. We stayed a long weekend and by the end of the trip the room smelled like black mold/mildew. I don't think that they ever mopped the rooms floor ever. We would get out of our shower and walk to the bed and our feet were so dirty it was like we ran a mile barefoot outside. We did pay a reasonable price for our stay but we probably would not go back there to stay again. The pool was a lot of fun and probably the best on the island to party at.

The location of the property while a bit hard to find is very convenient to town, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. The floor in the room left our bare feet filthy in the few steps between showering and dressing. The Bedsheets were quite damp, and there was no blanket at all, with minimal bedspread either. Bathroom was clean, the fixtures and furniture were spartan but functional, with each bed up against a wall or the A/C unit. The refrigerator worked perfectly as did the lamps and receptacles for charging electronics.
