Overall our week vacation there was great, however, we paid a lot extra for a "special dinner on the beach" for Valentines Day (not included in the all inclusive). It was a horrible experience. We waited forever to get drinks and food, including over an hour between our appetizer and meal, and the food was subpar and cold by the time we got it. We left very late that night, so no time to complain to anyone. We told our concierge the next day, who said she would try to see if there was something they could do (we weren't the only ones that had a horrible experience, so others had also complained and gotten refunds, etc). The next day she told us they were working on it. The day after, she asked if we could head to the desk and describe our experience to Public Relations people, so we did. They refused to refund even a portion of our money, or do anything else to remedy it, and they basically accused us of trying to get money back for free because we were just bringing it up to them. We explained that we spoke with our concierge the next day, but they didn't care. We should have just stuck to the free included meal for that night, because it would have been 10x better. We also agreed to see the other properties, to see if we wanted to join a club with them, which was supposed to take 90 minutes, and after 3 hours, we were late for an event, and we pushed for them to get us back to the hotel, but they turned bitter and had no sense of urgency to get us back.
