Beautiful island, great hotel, fantastic restaurant, helpful & friendly staff. I can’t praise this place highly enough. TBH the maintenance is slightly behind the curve (they had to fix the lights and hot water, but did so promptly). But if it was five star perfection the cost would reflect that.

Returned for my 4th visit after a 5 year break due to Malaysia being closed to foreign tourists. The hotel has been extensively renovated during the lockdowm so we spent much more time by the pool and the rooms were great. Miss the vibe of the Cba beach bar. The pelangi grill feels more like a restaurant than a bar. We stayed at Temple Tree for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a more amazing stay. We were greeted with a drink and cookie upon check-in, then upgraded to a four-bedroom villa with a private pool which was incredible and so appreciated. I stayed for 7 nights, this is a nice clean modern hotel, spacious bathroom with good shower, every room has its own seating area outside the room. Breakfast is served by the pool included, eggs, toast, cereal, this is more than adequate but for those who want more there are plenty of restaurants serving breakfast in the town. Looks exactly like the pictures lovely quiet unspoilt location with great pool and friendly staff, although the staff on the tour desk and reception could have been a bit more knowledgeable on the activities and local markets etc and how to settle the account at the hotel

We spent four nights here. We stayed in a sea view studio. The room was large, the view was great. The roof pool and bar were really good, and there is a small beach close by, just ask and you’re taken there in a buggy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If we return to Langkawi, we will stay here again. Tips: Take your own shower gel as you only get shampoo and conditioner and use the Grab app for getting cabs.

The hotel itself is very new and well maintained, with an amazing view of the ocean. The staff are very exceptionally friendly and happy to accommodate questions and requests. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

One of the most delightful hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are outstanding. The hospitality feels more like staying in the home of good friends than a normal commercial hotel experience. The warmth of welcome goes well beyond just polite and efficient service, though they provide that too. Don't worry about the steep hill. Very nice hotel in a quiet area on 1.5kmts from the airport. Unfortunately this means that you have to travel to get to the beaches and nightlife. The buffet breakfast was good with many Asian choices and eggs fresh-cooked anyway you like. I recommend getting the Grab app as they were excellent for travelling around and very, very cheap. Centrally placed to the Main Street in Pantai Cenang. Good selection of food at the buffet breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Extended Happy hour with BOGOF. Close to the airport and easy to get a Grab taxi (download the App first). Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing experience, staff were the kindest too and were super easy to communicate with overwhatsapp whenever needed. The location of this villa is also super convenient near pentai cenang the main street in langkawi and high up on the mountain so the views were amazing too. highly highly recommend. It’s a unique experience to stay in an antique Malaysian home brought into 21st century comfort. Staff here are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. The food in the restaurant is the best we had on the island & the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. This is a really special place & if you want to get away from impersonal, standard hotel environments this is the place for you. We stayed in Black Coral & the room was beautifully furnished, stylish & comfortable.

We had an amazing 7 night stay at The Camar, the room was very comfortable and overlooked the great long pool, Breakfast was good, the staff were truly wonderful. The location is on a pretty beach on the edge of town, away from all the clamor but near enough for either a long walk or short taxi ride. The hotel run a scuttle service. There are pretty of restaurants and bars in the area. Would highly recommend
