Senator Puerto Plata
It was fine. Amenities okay. Small beach on the property. Larger beach further away. Unfortunately conditions during our stay made swimming forbidden. Buffet was okay — actually better than a more expensive resort we stayed at but nothing special.

We stayed at the ibeostar in Cancun and the difference is night and day. This one in puerto plata is not well kept. The pool was dirty, paint around the hotel chipping away , food was okay. No complaints about the staff, they were all friendly and polite. I just wish the facility was up to the same ...

Hotel was full of locals with no manners,lines to have lunch that we ate outside hotel. When did get to dine the buffet was full of people and cutting in line.
