The hotel was very good. They brought a kettle to our room. The outdoor pool was heated and the sauna and steam room worked. The airport transfer was reliable. Families with children bought day passes which is good. Will stay again.

I had no problems booking a transfer to the airport which left on time.

Loved the beautiful room with kitchen. The bed was so comfortable and the food fantastic. Awesome gym, with paddle courts, tennis and pickle ball. Fantastic to watch the Polo too. Loved the 3 Swimming pools.

Beautifully located in a quiet spot between Quito airport and the city. Nothing is too much trouble for Pablo, the friendly proprietor, and his chef turns out very attractive evening meals and breakfasts. This is an older property but is well maintained and, for us, has an undeniable charm. The place is very clean and offers wi-fi in the main house. We stayed twice for one night a week apart and it was a great reassurance the second time to know what to expect. Recommended.

Everything was excellent—service, cleanliness, etc. Highly recommended.

We chose not to stay in Quito city as we needed to be back and forth to the airport. So this hotel offered a good midway point, and we were really glad we chose it. As well as a much shorter ride to and from the airport, the hotel is smart, tidy and comfortable, and has possibly some of the most helpful staff I've ever encountered. We had an issue with one flight, and they did everything they could to help, including lending us a phone for several hours while we were on hold. Martin and Michelle...

A lovely family run hotel which was a great base in Quito. We stayed here twice at either side of our trip to the Galapagos and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Everyone was lovely and nothing we asked for was too much. If we're ever back in Quito we are certain to visit again.

The house would go unnoticed from the road but just wait until Mario opens the door to let you in! The quality of the guesthouse is clear to see and the welcome from Mario and his wife Blanca is an absolute delight after a long journey.

The staff could not have done more for us. From the very beginning they were communicative friendly welcoming and when we arrived they were so warm. It was our honeymoon and they’d put some flowers in the room which was such a nice touch. The location is great, the room lovely (albeit not quite soundproof so bring earplugs!!!) we really loved our stay here thank you

A unique experience within a beautiful city, Casona D’Alameda was a very worthwhile stay and contributed very positively to our experience of Quito. We stayed for three weeks, during which we travelled for four days to the Galapagos, as well as exploring what Quito has to offer and travelling a little further afield to the towns and monuments surrounding Quito. By staying here, rather than in an non-descript hotel which might leave us feeling that we were in any city in the world, our stay at...

It was good, the room was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the food was good

A charming small hotel very well situated in the historic centre district just a short walk from the plaza grande. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms well equipped and kept spotlessly clean . The hosts were as charming as they were helpful and made our stay a most enjoyable one.
