Coral Reef offers a uniquely beautiful garden setting with a sea and beach border. To glance in any direction in any of those settings, is to see beauty. The elegant and welcoming main building and scattered cottages and garden rooms sit comfortably and gloriously within the garden and beach areas. All ones needs are absorbed by the attention of a myriad of gentle, characterful and super efficient staff and underpinned by the ever present attention of the family owners. Paradise on earth.

Family of 5 really enjoyed our stay, although we were only bed and breakfast and to be honest, the hotel restaurant and those in the town were really expensive! A round of 5 soft drinks was £25 and our evening meal in the hotel was £200 + with mostly tap water ( 2 kids meals) There are some cheaper restaurants in the town ,Just Grillin, Surfside Bar but nowhere open for Sunday lunch! We went to Oistins fish fry which we all enjoyed. Relaxed beach and lots of watersports too. People do try...

We stayed at Le Roy Hotel as a last minute decision, having visited Barbados a few times we found this hotel previously Infinity on the beach.
We were welcomed by the reception staff who were friendly and efficient, organising our lovely sea view room.
The room and the rest of the hotel were immaculately clean, with beautiful gardens a credit to the gardener.
Our favourite part of the hotel was the bar and restaurant, the food was a really high standard and the cocktails did the trick!...

Stayed all inclusive - food was varied every day and always a healthy choice! The basic garden view is still amazing - we had our own balcony, lounge and kitchen. All of the staff were super friendly, as were all locals in Barbados. The excursions and use of big hotel on beach made a difference too. We were there for a wedding which was amazing and the spa treatments we had was great - I really can't say a bad word about it!

Visited the hotel in 2007 and 2008 and amazed that Reggie still remembered us after all that time when we returned in August this year!
Hotel was quiet (but so was the whole area including the Gap) and the one bedroom apartment was good although could do with a lick of paint.
The hotel is on the beach, which never had more than a dozen people on it ,and sunbeds, towels, umbrellas were easy - no getting up at dawn to reserve. Walking into the sea is like walking into a warm bath and nice and...

Most amazing place: calm/relaxing with stunning views (especially at sunset) plus beautiful beach/pools & friendly staff. Woke up daily to see race horses in bay (5 mins later next to them). Many days saw monkeys, close up, eating mangoes just on roadside to Hilton; plenty of turtles in sea by Barbados Blue (free rentals of SUPs for Hilton guests). Free WiFi (if join Hilton Honors prior, free). Free rum punch on arrival. Comfy bed, spacious/clean room. Great bathroom.
No mosquitoes.

We had a great week in this hotel. It's small and friendly, staff were really helpful and there's a lot of regular guests and also long stay ones. The pool is clean and the water a perfect temperature, always plenty of sunbeds/chairs around the pool area. It's a short walk to the beach boardwalk with access to several beautiful beaches. The room was spacious, plenty of hot water and it was well equipped. The bed was large and comfy. May be an idea to take a small washing up liquid if you're...

Myself and my wife went to the Coral Mist Beach Hotel because IT was self catering and it had its own beach and we were NOT disappoint at all. Yes it was not modern and needs a revamped BUT everything else was spot on. Every day we sunbathed on the beautiful beach over looking the stunning Carribean sea and every night we watched baby turtles come out of the sand and we helped them to the sea and even watched a mother laying her 100+ eggs!! The staff were lovely especially the bar staff and Paul...

We went for 8 days with our 9month old daughter and could not have been more satisfied. The rooms/apartments are incredibly spacious, have a beautiful ocean views, a generous kitchen and are finished to a very high standard. The same cleaner comes every day and does an incredible job at keeping the apartment clean (including dishes and laundry). The property is right by the beach and the gazebo serves a nice selection of food (e.g. fish, salads, sandwiches) and offers room as well as pool side...

Arrived late on 15/1/16 for 14 day stay after a mix up over transfer no show and hitched a ride in an old bus an hour later feeling ragged but nice welcome. Good room spacious super balcony and comfy bed. Bathroom dated and disaster non detachable shower head for hair washing which is a must when in and out of the sea and not wanting full drenching. New tv but usual rubbish international channels but with books, i pads, scrabble to prevent brain drain who cares. Lovely gardens well...

Our room was really lovely, with a great balcony looking over the polls to the sea. The bed was really comfy, though as is often the case overloaded with pillows/cushions, and the shower was excellent.
There was a well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, freezer, microwave and 2 hobs, plus plenty of crockery etc. There was a kettle and a filter coffee machine, but no tea bags or coffee. When we enquired about this we were told the Bouganvillea is a "self-catering hotel", which is a pretty...

I did not use WiFi but others did and seemed to be happy with it. Amenities only ok because, yes it had a pool but no umbrellas for use during the hottest September for years. Free use of computer. Reception phoned for taxis at no charge for calls. I would come back as soon as possible. Great staff, great menu, great location, great beach 2 minutes away, (look for the racehorses taken for their early morning swim each day). Small hotel but other guests very friendly, lovely. Great atmosphere....

I am a little bit biased by the fact we spent our anniversary at Mango Bay and they treated us wonderfully - everyone was really kind and helpful - the gifts and thoughtful touches in our room were really appreciated. On a practical level you are right on the beach, but can walk around Holetown easily.
