The spirit of Prince Albert
Our stay at the enchanting Bidhuisie in Prince Albert was wonderful. I like to go at least once a year to Prince Albert for the beauty and peace of this lovely, charming little village. The Bidhuisie is comfortable with all the modern necessities but also oozes with the charm of the Great Karoo and the history of the town.
Thank you to Elma for settling us in and the delicious Gemsbok biltong!

Kleines Haus, tolle Unterkunft
Es handelt sich um ein freistehendes Haus mit großem Wohn-/Ess-/Kochbereich, zwei Schlafzimmern und Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC. Angrenzend Terrasse mit Grillmöglichkeit, Sitzbereich, kleinem Wasserbecken, das für eine Abkühlung vollkommend ausreichend ist und Gartenbereich. Das Haus ist mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Bei der Ankunft im Kühlschrank eine Karaffe mit Wasser und eine Flasche Milch. Handtücher vorhanden. Voll ausgestatteter Küchenbereich, den wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben. Wir waren für eine Nacht hier und fanden die Unterkunft toll.

Prix exceptionnel pour prestations exceptionnelles
Magnifique petite chaumière avec deux chambres à coucher, une sale de bain et un énorme séjour-salle à manger-cuisine, idéalement située à 5 minute à pied du centre de Prince Albert. Il faut appeler la logeuse lorsque l'on arrive à Prince Albert qui vient dans les 5 minutes amener les clefs du logements. Prévoir quelques pieces pour le telephone public ou avoir un telephone portable avec soi! Autrement, la maison est vraiment décorée avec gout et avec soin. Un vrai délice dans cette magnifique bourgade!

Don't arrive too late
This is a great place to stay but realise it's a small house with no check-in or hotel services attached. We arrived after dark and the place and surrounding houses were completely dark and empty. It looked like we were not expected. However, we were able to contact the number on the booking confirmation and this seemed to be a booking agent located in another town. They were not sure of the property or what to do, but were able to contact the property manager. After 15 minutes I heard nothing so called back and was advised someone was on the way. Shortly after, the manager arrived and settled us in for a good stay. So please be sure to confirm exact arrangements with the owner/manager before arriving as there is no on-site manager.
