"City Studios is offering a place to stay with the convenience of self catering. The room was clean, the kitchen well equipped and I had plenty of space for my stuff. The check in is different to what I was told. They do not use the app anymore, just head into reception. My door to the room was a challenge - it didn’t close easily. Maybe something to look at. I didn’t like that I couldn’t watch normal live TV, but I enjoyed the Christmas movie channel. 😂 Overall a sufficient place for rest, study and catering."

"It's close to the Preston train station which is good but the windows weren't sound proof and because of that the morning work traffic woke me up at 6:30AM even with ear plugs in.When I finally got back to sleep I ended up waking up an hour later so by that point I thought I might as well just get up.There was also no bin in the room which i found quite odd but everythingelse was fine."

"The Villa is a very nice property with excellent and helpful staff in all areas. We had a room on the ground floor which felt a little damp when we first entered. We had a nice meal on our second night and the breakfast was more than enough. This was our second visit to the hotel and I’m sure we will return at some point."

"The Lea Gate is positioned for great access to the motorways in the area. There is a morissons express store opposite with a petrol garage attached . The staff at Lea Gate couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. There is a hungry horse pub on the premises serving good food. Our room was spacious, very clean and quiet. Ideal for traveller's/tradesmen etc. Definately use again 👌"
