Best for short stay trip notthing as much you expect from ibis ...our room we get was dirty and not cleaned..so we had to go down stairs to the reception for get our room to be changed..and breakfast was ok. Not too much parking space around hotel.

Would not go back.
The saddest Hotel I have ever seen... Room is a shoe box. There is no full bathroom. The basin is in the room, the toilet is a cubicle and the shower is separate cubicle. Due to covid they were not serving breakfast, but giving guests a paper bag with some bread, butter, jam, apple and a tiny croissant.

Cheap hotel in Basel
Church in was efficient, staff were friendly. The room door was difficult to open which was frustrating and the key required several reprogramms. The room has the sink in it, the shower door and the door to the toilet... I haven't seen that before. The bed was so uncomfortable I had you l two really bad nights with very little sleep. The restaurant is very small... breakfast was ok and starts at 5am which is great for the all too common early morning fights.... This is a very cheap hotel on the Basel area, the other option near by was 4 times more expensive.

We paid for parking but when we returned, there were no spots left. They refunded our money, but in my opinion they should have told late comers who wanted parking that no spaces were available instead of us who were there earlier.

Ideal Base
Just a bit of confusion as to where the hotel was situated the Railway runs through the centre of Pratteln with the Town on one side and Businesses on the other? Only a 15 minute walk once I got the directions right! Tucked away behind a new Shopping centre ! Very busy hotel ! Warm and friendly , made me welcome, very helpful too!

Budget hotel...
Hotel is totally fine for the price (in comparison to other Swiss hotels). Staff were friendly when we arrived. Beds are a little closer together, and the bathroom (like in other Ibis Budgets from this era) is a little strange with the open plan design... Separate toilet and shower is good though.

Tiny wc and glass door shower straight into bedroom. So with twin beds that arent separated - make sure you are very friendly with the person you are sharing with. Finally, given Switzerland has its own plug (not EU standard), its a shame they dont combine a few USB outlets.

Will not stay at this hotel again. The rooms are extremely small for two people and suitcases. The A/C does not work (apparently another trick to save money for the hotel and still charge as if it is working). I asked to have it checked or switch my room but to no avail...terrible service. Parking was included in my bill but they charged me again. I travel a lot and review hotels. I have never said this but in this case I have to. Do not stay at this hotel.

Safety and cleaness first
Two cups in the room were not new, because they were not sealed with plastic bags which had already been broken. I asked the recpnist to change and she has no new ones. I had to ask a worker of cleaning room for new ones. Terrible.

this hotel is fine for cheap, enroute room.can just about swing a dead cat in room but thats fine.didnt eat there. only saw 2 staff-one not overly concerned at 9 people waiting to check whilst dealing with a woman whom demanded his attention to something.the other when leaving who was very helpful and obliging.car park very small -10 cars-but it is basle! tea and coffee in lobby is a machine!!!

Nice hotel on the road
The hotel is in a industrie neighborhood . We use it because we continue with our travel to Ticino. You can’t not walk around is nothing to see but at night you have two restaurants !! One look really nice for steaks and the other more casual, is a pizzeria. The pizza one open until 10 pm. We go for the pizza.

This is a small budget Hotel - don't expect 5 star luxury but the staff are very friendly, the wi-fi is great and if you're attending a concert at the nearby Z7 concert venue it is literally less than 5 minutes walk away. Very quiet - good night's sleep. 5 minutes walk to station that take 10 minutes to get to the centre of Basel.

Great value and spacious room. I was accidentally double charged but they rectified that very fast. Only downside is that the hotel is bit far from things - but I stayed here as it was next to a venue I was seeing a concert at

You can always rely on an ibis budget
We stopped over here for the night on the way from England to Italy. We use ibis budget quite a lot in other countries as they are always clean and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The only reason I scored a 4 for condition is that the shower hose was split so the pressure was a little less than normal however I forgot to mention it to the reception. I'm sure I did they would have fixed it.

Bare minimum location
In all, we felt pretty disappointed with our stay. The interiors did not seem that well looked after and the hotel seemed understaffed at times. For the amount we paid, we'd expect tea and coffee in the rooms and inclusive breakfast as a minimum. The rooms we were in were very dusty and definitely were not cleaned every day. That said, the staff were very polite, helpful and kind so it helped to attenuate the rest of the experience.

Very satisfying, just change the beds!!!
The hotel is about 20 mins away from the cuty center. The hotel is really good, the staff helpful. I would actually like to leave a very big THANK YOU to one of the receptionits. She was really great and told us what we could do in our stay and what to see! The room is nice, modern, could use more deep cleaning, the beds are just plain uncomfortable! The mostimportant of the stay (the beds) are the worse, very disappointing. The girl gave us a mobility ticket for us to use in any bus, tram or train. Breakfast is 11chf (£8) per person, ehich I thought was a bit pricey, because there is not a lot of variety, it was good, but not worth the that money. There is a McDonalds that serves breakfast, which is what we did in out trip. Is about 5 min walk from the hotel, but you must get there early, otherwise there won't be any croissants, but you can wait 20 mins until they make more. I maybe stay in this hotel again, just for the service of the girl and the mobility ticket, it really helped us. Tram 14 takes you directly to the city center. The beds and pillows really disappointing, compared to everything else. Unless you're really tired, you won't be getting a very good nights sleep. Fix this and this would be a 10/10 hotel!!! Do not get confused, this hotel is in Pratteln, a bit outside of basel, is not the one in the city Center! Also, download the app Basel & Regio to tell what transport to get somewhere.

Non-smoking room smelled of smoke and had cigarette ash on the floor by the bed. It's a budget hotel that's easy to find and convenient to the freeway, but not more than that.

Hotel with just basic facilities!
Room was small and having separate shower and toilet seat. not very convenient to use. Location was easy to find and had good parking area. Hotel was away from any tourist site however close to railway station (600 meters).
