"Genuinely one of the most jarring stays I’ve ever had to date. Don’t believe the pictures; the air conditioned comfort penthouse advertised does not have windows in the walls of the apartment, and was barely ‘indoors’ much less ‘air conditioned’. There is a single room with air conditioning. The room itself has a broken window that does not enable to close the window which makes the air conditioning pointless. "I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sotero. The room was very nice, and the bed was beyond comfortable and very big 😊. Breakfast was great, the views of the city were amazing, and it's location is prime between the center of Salvador and the beaches of Lauro De Freitas and some of the southern beaches of Coconut Coast. Proximity to Salvador Shopping also is a huge plus!"

"Small, very nice boutique hotel. Very clean and tastefully decorated, with an excellent breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, no one speaks a word of English, so we could only communicate via cell phone and translation tools. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we can highly recommend the hotel."
