Matylda was an oasis of relaxation, friendliness, and great food after a day of touring Prague. It's only a15 minute walk, or easy Tram ride to Old Town City Center. The staff is A . I'll be back!

I loved this boat hotel! Lovely area on river near trams and Metro. Accomdations excellent. Mangement so efficient and friendly. Obviously the owner takes pride in making everything attractive and welcoming. Exterior so happy with greaniums and lavendar. Interior with plants and 1st class art.Even fruit bowl in handsome lobby and well stocked fridge. Bravo

I found this to be a very great location to wander from. Breakfast in the morning made things easier as well, it’s right next door. Lovely staff and very friendly. Good price, too.

It is a boatel, tied up on the riverside. Look out your porthole and watch the river activity. Comfortable room, staff was helpful and the breakfast at the attached boat was wonderful. Great surroundings and all sorts of city buses and streetcars 30 seconds away.

Boat is in a convenient location, close to everything, but quiet. The standard double room is a bit tight but the experience of staying on a boat makes up for it. Unfortunately, during hot nights in the summer the room gets a bit stuffy....no AC only a standing fan. All in all an amazing experience.

An amazing place to stay right on the river! Room was small, but clean and a view of the ducks wading passed your window. Very convenient to trams and busses, within walking distance of many dining options. People were friendly and very helpful and would highly recommend this experience!

What a fun place to stay. Easy check in. They have a parking garage a few blocks away. Breakfast was good. Rooms were super clean with a great view over the city. Bathrooms were super clean. Check out was very easy.

On the River Vltava
We loved being right on the river with ducks almost within reach. The people were extra helpful. We had their breakfast two mornings and like the fact that one could order fresh items off a menu as well as a selection of breads, fruit, etc from a buffet. It was so convenient having a tram stop across the street. Our only issue were the steps going to the lower level were a tad risky for us 70+ yrs olds.

Marvellous experience! I was thrilled with my room number 8. Took pictures of Matylda; Singapore pals were hungry for more information. Really would have liked to stay longer. Ill miss Eva Danna and young receptionist. Old guy was reassuring and efficient.

the receptionist was excellent and stored our luggage as we arrived 4 hours early. The bar gave us fresh milk for our tea/coffee and were very friendly. The cleaners didn’t make the bed when servicing the room and didn’t remove used crockery. Overall a good stay and the only moans we have is the noise from the restaurant upstairs (to be expected) and the fact they only issue 2 pots of coffee per day! Enjoyed the experience of staying on a boat and the tram was only at top of stairs, however, would probably stay in a normal hotel on our next visit to Prague
