Staff really friendly and seem to want you to enjoy your stay. Concierge had great restaurant recommendations and was able to get us tables. Barman was great. Interconnecting room perfect for families and spacious. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely spacious rooms, super comfortable bed and linen. Nice bathroom products. Great to have a bathroom with a bidet too. Although not in the historic centre it was only a 10-15 min Uber ride and they were excellent value. There is a supermarket a 3 min walk if you need anything and a lovely cafe 5 min walk if you don’t want a big breakfast at hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a little gem. As the name would suggest chocolate plays a major role in both the design of the rooms and the offerings at breakfast time. The rooms are large and well appointed whilst the breakfast, with or without chocolate, will set you up for the day. There is a small museum about chocolate manufacturing on site as well. I’d be happy to stay here again.

I loved this hotel although on first impression you may think its too far away from Porto and doesnt look very attractive from the outside its really whats inside that counts. The breakfast was amazing inc GLUTEN FREE corner with cornflakes & croissants 🙌🙌 The shower in the room had great pressure, an Iron that actually was better than the one at home, a fridge, Great Wifi. Only complaints: was promised a phone to use. No phone. Was supposed to be herbs and spices, they weren’t there, either. Otherwise smooth and easy experience. Thank you.

Great location, communicative staff and a clean little apartment with decent facilities for a short stay.

A spacious property would like to return again with extended family group. Great facilities, kitchen was well equipped could easily cater for group. Good communication from owners always helpful. Not in the main historical district but had plenty of places to buy food or eat also easy and cheap to get transport. View of football stadium.

We booked a double room and were upgraded to a suite which enhanced our satisfaction, improving what was already an excellent deal.

Great little hotel. Superbly placed for exploring Matosinhos or the tram goes past the hotel for easily exploring further afield. Easy transfer from the airport. Friendly and helpful staff, decent buffet breakfast with a good selection, comfy and quiet room with working aircon. Little fridge in room was useful and there is a Pingo Doce supermarket 180metres away open 0800 to 2100 everyday. Lovely beaches. Lots of great places to eat (particularly recommend Sushisia). Will come back.

Property was well set out and a good size, two bedrooms plus lounge and kitchen. Owner was friendly, met us there at the agreed time for handover. Village is very quiet, with a well stocked shop two minutes walk away. Motorway is an easy drive away.
