Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money
Kathy goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. This was our second trip to Saint Hubert's, and we had more time to enjoy the beauty of the property, pick some apples and take in the gorgeous fall colors.
Our stay was very nice. We were visiting our daughter at Marist for family weekend. Saint Hubert's Lodge was conveniently located - an easy drive to the college. We stayed in the Rose Cottage. Our room was very clean and the bed/linens/furnishings quite comfortable. There is wifi but no TV.
Breakfast was delicious and the hostess/owner was very gracious. We would definitely return.
I had a wonderful stay at Saint Hubert's. My friend and I took advantage of everything--the lodge setting, the pool, the walking paths. Breakfast was outstanding and Kathy was careful to meet my dietary requirements. I will definitely be back!

Extraordinary place to stay with your pet
The grounds, accommodations and lodge are absolutely immaculate and gorgeous. This is a peaceful, hidden gem but still close to everything that the area has to other. This was our first time traveling with our pet and it was a very relaxing and pleasant experience for all of us. Kathy Guarino is an extraordinary host; warm, welcoming and gracious. She recommended area attractions and restaurants which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress free. I highly recommend a stay at Saint Hubert's Lodge!
Peace and serenity... mornings filled with coffee, watching sunrise reflect off a pond from the back deck, observations of ducklings and young muskrat playing in the water...an amazing way to start my day. In the evenings I fished with my son or played some basketball. We had campfires on the courtyard and played billiards in the lodge. I have told many people about my soulful family vacation nestled within an idealic woodland landscape, surrounded by the vineyards and orchards of the Hudson River Valley. Thank you Grace and Kathy, you helped make our stay perfect.
Would definitely stay here again. Cute place, great location to wineries & little towns with good eateries! Very nice owner & staff, really felt at home!
Kathy and Grace were wonderful- they both made us feel at home and gave great suggestions of where to go, eat and grab a few drinks. We were there for a short girls weekend away so it was perfect. It was nice just sitting by the fireplace at night in the main area. The breakfast was delicious in the morning. Rooms were very clean. Great experience overall
Saint Hubert's Lodge is located in beautiful apple country. Very peaceful setting. Clean and lots of conveniences. Next time we will arrange to try the skeet range adjoining the property. Host was very helpful giving excellent directions and making dinner reservations
it's my second time staying here. Always have pleasant stay. Breakfast is also really nicely put together. Very comfortable bed, house is beautiful. I also picked some apples from their private orchard (thanks for letting us pick apples!), they are delicious. I took my dog, my dog had fantastic time playing outside. Pet friendly place, which is always a plus.
The grounds are more beautiful than I anticipated; the area is more scenic than I remembered; the lodge itself is perfect, and the staff delivers on what's promised: comfortable lodgings, a great breakfast, with all the conveniences that are needed for a very pleasant stay.
We will be back many times. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They helped us coordinate our whole weekend and suggested changes to our itinerary in a few places that made the weekend better than expected. Would suggest this place HIGHLY. Thank you to the staff.

The hilights of our stay were the gorgeous grounds and lovely pool - both wonderful! The setting did not disappoint in any way.
There was a problem with the hot water in our shower the first evening, but it was resolved quickly which I appreciate. The room itself was fine except that it had no windows to the outside; it would have been nice to know this ahead of time.
The towel rack fell from the shower door when I tried to take a towel, which was disappointing (I didn't try to put it back together since the end piece had fallen on my foot and I didn't want that to happen to anyone else).
Breakfast was a little disappointing - we came halfway through and the food that was left wasn't hot. It took a long time to get the juice refilled and we had to ask among the other guests for maple syrup. The food itself was good enough, but it seemed like if you don't arrive at the beginning, it's lukewarm and you might have trouble finding things.
The big disappointment was the long period of shooting noise on Sunday morning. I was meeting a friend who I only see once a year and we splurged on a peaceful getaway. We spent more than we normally would because the setting appeared it would be so quiet and peaceful. Like I said, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, but it's hard to enjoy when you're hearing 2 continuous hours of shooting, some of it very close by. My dog was unnerved by the noise so we had to leave her inside more than I would have liked.
The issues above are understandable and wouldn't deter me from returning, but I'm extremely disappointed I wasn't warned ahead of time about the shooting noise, or given a discount of some sort. I'd appreciate at least a small portion of our payment be refunded if possible, for this reason.
We did find it to be a beautiful place and appreciated everyone's friendliness and also the speedy resolution when the hot water wasn't working. Thanks for those things -

Lovely quiet spot! Delicious breakfasts and very nice staff. Our groundfloor room was very dark and windows do not open - lots of AC though.
Overall a good spot
Stayed in the Rose Room, and it was just charming. Comfortable, beautiful; and as we came with 14-year old daughter, the accompanying single bed was in a different part of the large room so this worked well too. Great bathroom, with old bathtub and the shower stall convertible into steamroom. We came for 1 night but it was so nice we extended for another. As we left, the sports shooting that also ocurs here was starting, so those wanting quiet, as we had, might wish to call ahead to see what's scheduled for their stay. Oh, food was great, staff very nice, and it's close enough to all the sites of the region.
