Fabulous Bilbao Hotel…

We were away for 21 days travelling in Europe with our two children (15 and 20). We stayed in many aparthotels and rentals and this was rated as one of the top stays by everyone. Perfectly located for walking around Bilbao, close to the funicular and the Guggenheim Museum, and a short cab ride to the old town. The service was wonderful at the hotel - friendly and helpful with great tips. A grocery store was very close by for essentials and wine (at the entrance to the funicular). We had a top floor apartment with a lovely balcony and view. It was compact but beautifully appointed with every convenience in the kitchenette. Super comfy beds too. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed for more than one night! Next time for sure. All the staff were very helpful and nothing was to much hassle, Itziar on main reception was a very pleasant and helpful, giving us all the knowledge of the local area, the buses you get into town and back Would stay there again…
