"Excellent location, on the edge of the ancient centre of Verona, and very reasonably priced. The hosts got in touch with me ahead of time and were very helpful with finding suitable car parking, and finding the property. We had a private room in a shared area (shared kitchen & bathrooms), but we only saw one other resident - we had it almost to ourselves. The main downside was that nearby drilling and hammering sounds started early in the morning, but I guess that was bad luck."

"The check in staff was nice and friendly. The antico residence hotel is under ABC hotel so go to ABC hotel instead. The location is good near train station and city center but if your room window is facing the station then you have to close the window all the time to avoid noise. The room is basic, okay clean and okay comfortable but the dark red bed cover don’t look appealing. The shower drain is not just slow running, it’s totally clogged. "Once you figure out the parking it’s very nice. You have to park on the street across from the train tracks or at the square where the Hotel Mantova is. Then you cross under the tracks at the tunnel. Villa is 180 degree turn once you come up stairs. There is a security gate that you will need to ring the bell. After that a key will open. Room fine. "We arrived very late but this was pre arranged. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. Let us buy some water from the little shop they have. Room was clean. Shower leaked but otherwise was fine. Parking free right outside. My kids managed to spill drink all over the floor at breakfast and the lady was so kind, cleared it all with no issue.
