Great location, nice rooms and lovely staff made our trip to Porto a fabulous experience. The breakfast is great (as is the food in Porto in general) and being right on the river front in Ribeiro suited our itinerary perfectly. Would stay here again.

A hidden gem on the Douro River. The staff were welcoming, kind and attentive. Thank you Maria for your incredible hospitality. The hotel is quaint and beautifully appointed and the breakfast was wonderful. We loved our river-view room. The bed was comfy and the room was cozy. We only stayed for one night and had an early morning all-day Douro Valley tour so the woman at the desk offered to make us box lunches to take with us since we would miss breakfast that day. She also kindly allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel while we were on our tour.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. We would have appreciated more wardrobe space and tea/coffee making facilities in the room but it was adequate for the duration of our stay. We felt the hotel was understaffed but the staff on duty were friendly and always willing to assist. The river view was superb from our room, and we would certainly consider staying at this hotel again.

What a lovely small hotel. Bruna was incredible, best service one could imagine. Room 4 looked out over the river with a sweet balcony and an so comfortable bed. Great breakfast and wonderful location as you can walk to most places. Cannot recommend it enough.

Couldn't have had better in Porto

Excellent location and base to explore Porto from. Could not have had better. Hotel rooms were very nice and loved the exposed stone work in the rooms and lounge.
