"Very new and clean pool area comfortable. Staff friendly and accommodating. Food very good. Needs some amenities like coffee on the premises besides a pricy restaurant. Also basic sundries for sale. All in all, a 4-star experience "

"Wife and I stayed at Opal Sands for our 10th anniversary and could not have picked a better place to celebrate. The views of the Gulf from our room was spectacular, and the resort itself was beyond amazing. We ate at Seaguini for breakfast and dinner and the food was delicious, as was the food at the sister hotels restaurant. We are already planning our return."

"Do not book with Expedia!! Book directly through the hotels website. We booked this hotel for a Saturday through Sunday and when we arrived at the hotel around 8pm they had told us we’re sorry we overbooked and you don’t have a room! They were kind enough to book a hotel 45 minutes further south and further from our home. No communication sent to us prior of our arrival! No phone call, no email, no text. When I initially contacted corporate Marriott they had passed the buck to Expedia and unfortunately this is what happens when we don’t book directly with the source. When I contacted Expedia they passed the buck back to Marriott and offered me a $25 credit. I was insulted! $25 doesn’t even get you a 1/4 tank of gas these days. "

"The stay was great! Property is nice and in great shape it’s a newer property! The front desk girl that checked us in let us check in early which was awesome but she was not friendly at all. Nice property, great location. The only issue we had is the floors were gross in the room we had to wear shoes the entire time we had so much little dirt, crumbs and stuff stuck to the bottom of our feet. Other than that it was awesome! Target right across the street and lots of dining close! Nice workout room."

"Hilton was beautiful! You couldn’t ask for a better location right on the beach and 2 pools. You could walk to shops, restaurants, the park and pier. Staff went above and beyond every day! We actually booked extra days because we loved it so much!"

"We had a gulf-front room, so the view of the beach & ocean was great. Noise from the street and other events could be a bit however, the patio doors/windows were pretty solid so not a lot of noise got inside the room. Staff was great, helpful and friendly. Nice location. Pricey, for one, i don't care for automatically charging gratuity on various services, i like to tip according to my preferences but i kinda get it that some people don't tip at all (blasphemy!), so they need to somehow account for that i suppose."
