When I first arrived I was amazed with the beauty of the hotel and its location. Stunning sea views and Mountain view’s on the other side. Was disappointed with the no wifi. My room was very huge and I loved that. Had one of the best AC units from any of my previous hotel stats. My bathroom door was broken, had stains left on the lap shade and bin. Shower was out of control. But seemingly I had a nice relaxing time there. You cannot beat the view and having breakfast over looking the ocean in the distance.

Ridiculous Management priorities

Our stay was not pleasant at all... Water shortages, no notice on day of arrival... had to bath from a bucket on the morning of our check-in, managed to batch properly on the evening of our last night and the morning of our check out. Management not considerate to clients being notified in time on Municipality shortages, nor eager to suggest or find solutions to unpleasant conditions.

The Place is nice and very quiet, but the condition of the buildings is absolutely pathetic. And I expected to swim but the pool is so small it looks like a pond. Just know what is shown on the website and the actual place is two different things. The facilities also there is actually nothing exting about the place.

This hotel needs a lot of maintenance. No porters to help with luggage; no lifts to room. Terrible mouldy smell in the reception. Bath/tub shower very small and water pressure terrible. Bed is way too soft; pillows are terrible. Towels are very old and only hand towels available. Room service is very limited. I would not recommend a stay here. Very dissapointing.

Concerning our stay at the Edwardian.

We enjoyed the stay very much. Service was very good and all the employees very polite and friendly and helpful. The room was clean and size adequate. Gardens well kept. Food very good. Only problem was that we were unable to get a functioning safe.

We did not get to stay because 'we had not booked'. I went online and booked and came back with a ref number and we were told there were no rooms available yet online they still were available. The ladies at the reception were less than nice shame.

When you don't get what you pay for

The room was not as advertised. The maintenance was shocking. The toilet was jammed up against the shower making it unusable. The Queen bed was 2 single beds, not even combined. There was hair in the basin. You had to be a contortionist to open the bath taps due to the plastic sheet stuck onto the bath to separate the bath/shower and toilet. The couch had unknown stains on it. I would not recommend this hotel and am shocked that the Premier Group allow it to use their name.
