"The property is situated in a beautiful location and very close to the airport. The staff was super helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious. Room was big with great view. I would advise to bring your own toiletries. It only has shower cap and soap. I was prepared so it wasn't a big deal."

"We loved our three day stay! It was a 10min walk to a fabulous bakery and 15min walk to the village. We were treated to a weekend festival with food and music each of the three nights we were there. It was an easy drive from the airport and to all locations of interest on the island. We would recommend this place to couples or families travelling to Pico who want a quiet and relaxing vacation."

"Well located hotel across from ferry terminal and marina. Very close to cafes and shops. Pool and lounging patio was wonderful to use on a warm day. There is a bar adjoining the pool with a very hardworking bartender who somehow managed to efficiently serve a large crowd all by himself. Breakfast buffet was nice with several high quality options including fresh pancakes, hot dishes, and lots of pastries and desserts. The desk staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. We asked to checkout slightly later than usual time (11 am) and received an abrupt response (“no way!”). They did allow us to store our luggage in an unlocked closet but we had to retrieve our bags ourselves as the staff was unable (or unwilling) to serve us. I would stay there again but with low expectations of the service."

"Great hotel and the room had a great view. The hotel and room were very clean. The pool facilities were nice and well kept. The hotel staff were very helpful at finding us a cab when our arranged cab didn't show up and we were struggling to find anyone due to the holiday on the island. Note that the hotel is on the south side of Madalena and it was about a 20 minute walk to the harbor/main area of town."

"Our room had a patio with sliding doors overlooking the ocean! Gorgeous!!! There is a central kitchen that guests can use to make meals and lots of great places to sit. The staff are amazing. They help to call taxis, provide laundry service and any other help you may need. The owner came by regularly to check on how things were going and was easy to access."

"An overall nice experience for something different. Would stay again. Strengths: Well located with a nice view of Pico and the ocean. Well done appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Amenities such as laundry, drying racks, tea kettles, bikes, and common room. Fresh bread and local cheese were great. Store with many staples. Animals to pet and feed. Opportunities: Noise from nearby construction and operating business plus neighboring dogs was distracting. One egg each for included breakfast."
