The room was very clean but because we asked for an upgrade to ensuite for privacy we were put in tiny rooms on 3rd and 4th floors with no lift nor offer of help to get up all the stairs with our luggage! I am 71 years old and my friend is 82. We will not be staying there again nor recommending anyone else to stay there. Reception staff needs a customer care course

The reception area has clearly been refurbished, unlike the rooms and corridors which need some serious TLC. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Parking costs £10 per day which given the hotel is somewhere people drive to is basically a way of charging less for a room and making it up via the parking charge.
