Very good friendly staff and they were very supportive. Newly built room and bathroom are very clean. Beutifull paddy field are surrounded. Very good breakfast and dinner.

The location is very good as all the tourist spots are very near. Rooms are clean and internet works well. Water is always available.The best part of this homestay is the sweet owner of this place ( Nisha ). She is very helpful and kind. She is also a very good cook and prepares delicious breakfast for guests. Nisha will try her best to make you feel at home. She even arranged a cab for us to go to Sigiriya and also drew maps for us to go around the town. Would recommend this as a must try in...

Very helpful and kind staff with beautiful surroundings

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond. They offered tips and always wanted to help to give us the best stay. The breakfast was incredible, there was a huge variety include rotors, fruit, pancakes, hoppers smoothies and curried dishes. The rooms were lovely with a ‘jungle feel’ with the well planted garden that the verandas looked over, complete with swings and regular seating for relaxing. This is 100% on the return list-i can’t recommend it highly enough.

Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough.

Wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms, ours also had a balcony. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, there are Sri Lankan and Western options, all very tasty. The pool is delightful, the views from the cafe are great.

I can’t recommend this place enough. I have never before receive the care and kindness as I did when I stayed at Amron Resort. The family owned accommodation treated me as if I myself was family - making me a delicious breakfast every morning regardless of how early I was getting up for trips. Also very helpful in arranging activities such as going on an elephant safari. If you’re reading this, please go for this. It really showed me how beautiful the Sri Lankan people are.

The hotel & grounds were wonderful. There was loads of wildlife, including mongeese, monitor lizzards, grey slender loris & a resident crocodile. The room, restaurant & swimming pool were all excellent. There were also plenty of places to sit & read outside the room eg a library area.

I travel a lot, and this hidden gem is just perfect.
