"Staff very helpful. Good hot water for showers and provide a good breakfast . Outdoor deck on top floor has beautiful view of the mountains. Only negative for me was a very firm bed, but Iended up sleeping well anyway. Spent 2 nights here before my trek, and one night afterwards before returning to Kathmandu. If I had the time I’d have stayed another couple nights to see/ do more in Pokara."

"This may have been the nicest place I stayed in Nepal, but I only stayed at a couple other places, and it is 4 star at best. The place itself was nice, but for shower hot water I had to call the desk each day to get them to heat up the water. The shower actually had a shower curtain, which was a positive I learned for Nepal. "Great stay at the Grand Holiday, the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Pokhara and getting to and from other areas if you are planning on trekking and when taking buses to different parts of Nepal. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. It's located close to the lake and far enough away from the main centre of lakeside so that it's even quieter than other parts of Pokhara. A nice 5-10 min walk gets you to the other end of the main road running through...

"It was a nice stay but electricity went off so we spent all night without any support and lost charge to our mobiles. However: hotel is very convenient for those who wish to see Sarankot sunrise or take the zipflyer as both destinations are like 5 minutes walk. Food is not good. Thanks "
