Wonderful stay. Lovely place, great food, warm hospitality. Everything you’d need.

Stupendous rural location. Entirely walkable from the railway station and to various supermarkets/boulangerie although perhaps slightly easier with a car. Very approachable owners, together with a friendly dog. Pure chance that we managed to catch the owner early afternoon, because the official check-in was from 5 pm, but we had no knowledge of this because Hotels.com had not included it on their website! Very clean & clutter-free & definitely recommended :-)

Great place to stop when cycling the Velo Francette, everything you need, outdoor kitchen, swimming pool, outside space, comfortable beds and a very helpful owner.

Beautiful property, stylish decor and excellent hosts. Great location in the lovely town of Rochefort. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The pool was a very welcome amenity particularly in the heatwave!

Just to be clear my scoring system: 1/ Don't go, just don't. 2/ I can't recommend going 3/ I enjoyed it but probably won't go back 4/ I enjoyed it, would go back especially if invited 5/ I enjoyed it, would invite others there myself Complete luck we found this place but it is AMAZING! After introducing myself with my very best French I was answered with a handshake and in a full English accent "Shall we speak English? I'm John!" Just stayed one night and it’s one of the best places I’ve ever stayed, very peaceful and great value for money.

This place is absolutely stunning. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There is no dinner service but decent places to eat within a 5 minute drive. Only one minor complaint and that was the cheap towels. Otherwise 5*

This is a singularly perfect hotel, service, food, rooms, location are all exceptional. The staff are attentive with grace and warmth of a family château and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Very comfortable with all the facilities you could ask for.

All the staff and the welcome was seriously first class and went way beyond even relais and chateau standards where we usually choose to stay. Very genuine and impressive. Deborah at breakfast deserves a special mention. As the hotel is mainly round a beautiful courtyard it could be a little noisy at times. Very comfortable bed and super linens. bath towels a little small. Would absolutely recommend. we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return

Stunning property with a beautiful pool and the most stunning family room with connecting bathroom so we could stay close to our teens :) We only stayed one night, the four poster bed was so comfortable, the linnen sheets helped me sleep like a baby! There was a lovely room to watch tv or play games and the breakfast was lovely, wish we had stayed longer! Merci Valerie ❤️

Amazing from start to finish . Comfy bed fabulous shower . Pool and wonderful breakfast xx

Lovely traditional farmhouse in a beautiful, quiet rural setting and very dog-friendly. Sandrine is an excellent host, providing us with a delicious dinner and breakfast. Our room & bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back!
