The hotel is impressive as you drive through the gates and mature gardens The pool was clean and inviting Being a warm night we had pre dinner drink and evening meal on the terrace overlooking the valley Our only criticism was the price of drinks and the breakfast was very poor at 19.50 euro each

Service was outstanding but sadly we were given a room without air-conditioning so our night was very uncomfortable. Restaurant food and service was the best . Wonderful atmosphere and setting

We could not fault this hotel. The welcome, friendliness and helpfulness of the proprietor and staff could not have been better. The evening meal was a wonderful dining experience and good value compared to the disappointing options in Cognac itself.The setting and views are lovely and the walk down to the river is well worth making.We would certainly go back there if in the area again.
