"We had an incredible stay at Habitation Cafeiere Samana Beausejour. Didier & Etienne have created a truly magical residence and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore Basse Terre. "Staff was very friendly, accommodations were clean and neat, appliances worked perfectly, pool and hot tub were clean everyday. Great location to see Basse-Terre island. Free parking for your rented car (which you will need to see the island). We were in a Studio with a kitchenette. Bigger grocery store was about 20 minutes away. only 15 minutes to Deshae (where they filmed Death in Paradise). We had a great time."

"Belle deco, bungalow très agréable, spacieux, bien équipé (cuisine basique) et une vue incroyable. Jaccuzzi très appréciable après snorkeling sur les plages du coin. Nous avons réellement apprécié nos deux nuits sur place, une belle pause dans une végétation luxuriante (beaux jardins en plus). "

"Cute little place is a must stay. Both a restaurant and a hostel. Was nice to be able to get a fairly priced meal, cooked to order by the chef, right downstairs. Rooms were comfortable and I was the only female staying that night so had female dorm to myself. There was also private rooms available to rent.
