"Excellent position in peaceful surroundings, right on the lovely beach with a large decked pool area. Good food in a very spacious dining area. We were in one of the huts in the garden which were just a short walk to the beach, beach bar, dining area and pool. Spacious, comfortable and very quiet. One slight negative: there are not enough parasols around the pool area. There was a local protest group blocking road access to the hotel for the duration of the stay. "Reception/check-in was pleasant and professional. Zenitude Hotel is divided in two main sections: Clipper and Residence Salako. I was in Clipper. This section requires a lot of renovation and clean-up. The bathroom was unbelievably dirty. There was mouldy grime between the tiles in the shower cubicle and the bathroom floor.I had to buy AJAX and a scrubbing brush to clean it off. The room was not so bad. "The property was lovely and very clean with all outdoor dining. Small birds flew in and out as we ate, yet I never saw a mess from them. The hotel cat was very friendly and visited our balcony most evenings to receive pets. The breakfast buffet was ample and good. They were very accommodating for my gluten intolerant husband, purchasing several gluten- free types of bread and cookies for him without asking. The website led me to believe they were more prepared for English speaking guests...

"Wonderfully tranquil hotel. A million dollar view. Few issues with ants in the balcony. Some communication issues - I was promised an invoice by email but nothing was sent. Additionally, I was charged for 4 breakfasts instead of 3. The staff said they were “unable” to credit my card for the additional breakfast,?which seemed strange to me. Very helpful staff and attentive to requests."
