"Very friendly and attentive staff. Room was very clean and tidy. Food was delicious, indoor and outdoor pool were very nice and relaxing. Will hopefully be returning in the near future!"

"Sumptuous beds a mile high with pillow soft toppers and silken sheets. Staff lovely, restaurant nice. Had rear room so no sea view but still nice open field to caravan site and balcony a 6pm sun trap, perfect for a pre dinner read. The extras the hotel offer make it fabulous; a room to store paddle board, lending you wetsuits, beach and picnic stuff etc. Car park busy (July) but nice chaps managing to help everyone. South Sands in front of you, rather challenging hill to next door North Sands beach both on foot and driving the single track road. Parking in Salcombe the stuff of nightmares so lean into hotel shuttle but book more than a day ahead for evening restaurant jaunts as only 6 seats each hour. (Think they should increase frequency when over booked). Sea tractor/ferry to Salcombe lovely but £18 each way for family of 4. Would choose again."

The breakfast was excellent and the Marco Pierre White restaurant was fantastic, We upgraded to lounge access and the free food and drink there was worth the money for us.
