Staff is ok. Rooms could be better, but totally acceptable for the price. Shower could use a door so the floor isnt flooded

Lovey people, from the reception desk to the cleaning staff, everyone is so friendly and polite, great pool area and bar, plenty of sun beds. nice breakfast.

EXPLOR Mansion - Inclusive Experience
We had a wonderful stay at the Rafkos mansion. Stelios the owner took us wherever we needed to go and we had delicious meals at one of the local restaurants. It would be wise to have a car because it’s in a village about 30mins. from Heraklion. Stelios is the definition of Greek hospitality!

We were the first booking for the season, so felt like we had a the whole place to ourselves. The property, and our villa, were incredible and the views out to the ocean were amazing. Matala Bay Apartments
Very nice apartment. Minimal furnishings but clean and comfortable. Lots of parking. Breakfast is very good. Be sure to check in at the Matala Bay Hotel before you go to the apartment.
