"We were the first booking for the season, so felt like we had a the whole place to ourselves. The property, and our villa, were incredible and the views out to the ocean were amazing. Loved our villa and was perfect size for our family. Appreciated the fresh fruit. Our host was there to greet us and communication throughout our entire stay was excellent. The property is beautiful, and it felt so relaxing to enjoy the sun in the Cretan hillside. Only wished we stayed longer!"

"We had a really lovely time at this house — it’s spacious, surrounded by lots of greenery, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The pool was absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. The shaded garden and good isolation from neighbors created a real sense of privacy, which we truly appreciated. "Staff were excellent especially Pari (spelt correctly I hope). Room was spotlessly clean, breakfast was delivered to the room. Very convenient, a short walk, to the harbour and the multitude of restaurants and bars at the harbour and along the beach. Only caution would be for older adults and families with small children. The stairs leading to the bedroom were quite steep and at the top section no handrail. So if you have mobility issues or small children you may want to enquire if there are rooms on a single level. Other than that I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and the excellent service."

"Beautiful escape in the mountains with lovely views and warm welcome. We had a great stay here enjoyed the quiet start to our holiday. Don't use google map to get to the property. Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. The property is beautiful and isolated, so you need a car to get around here. Our host was lovely and accommodating. We arrived at dark which made it harder to find the property. We would stay again but best to enjoy for at least 3 nights if we come again. Thanks for sharing your lovely space. "

"The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."
