OK not exceptional

Nothing really sets this place apart, breakfast was good, Wi-Fi was adequate, the room was a bit odd as the bathroom was part of the bedroom and there were large patio doors that had a good view, but also meant that if anyone was in the next door room you would have to have the curtains drawn if you wanted any privacy, also carry luggage up and down to the upper floor room was a but tricky. On a mice day, I imagine that it would be good to sit outside, but again it would be an area shared with the neighbours.

Nette B&B. Ontvangst van gastvrouw op zondagmiddag erg onprettig. Verder ook nog maar 1 keer gezien tijdens ons tweedaags verblijf. Personeel tijdens ontbijt erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt goed verzorgd. Nette ruime kamers met aparte badkamer. Voorzien van koelkast en magnetron. Parkeer voorzieningen niet al te ruim.

hotel piccolo carico e confortevole

ho soggiornato solo una notte in quanto di passaggio. pur avendo prenotato una stanza tripla ci è sono state assegnate due stanze adiacenti. entrambe belle, ben arredate con ogni comfort. Mancava l'aria condizionata (ma non era necessaria) cosa insolita la doccia, la vasca da bagno molto grande e il wc erano all'interno della stanza da letto inoltre vi era un altro wc in zona separata con porta. Terrazza grande attrezzata con tavolo e ombrellone. Parcheggio privato. E' un b&b molto carino e confortevole. La padrona molto disponibile.

Most expensive and worst quality B&B

This was the most expensive and worst quality of any accommodation we stayed at in South Africa. The good: The rooms are large, clean and have a frigde. The bad: We arrived at 4:30 pm, rang the bell 6 times and tried both cell numbers. Gave up and drove around town for awhile. Went back an hour later, rang bell multiple times and finally was able to call someone to let us in. She was sleeping, and grumpy. Told breakfast was 9-10 but we had to leave a bit earlier - 0 flexibility there. The room was really musty, must have been closed for weeks and we were the only ones there. The facewashers had giant holes in them - time for some replacements. When we left at 8am there was no one to be seen or contacted so we opened the gate, dumped the keys and dashed out before it closed. The stay was ok - just not anywhere near the standard of anywhere we stayed in the whole of Africa.

We loved our stay here. Its in a beautiful location, well kept and large comfy rooms. The free breakfast was fabulous. Very kind owner and staff. Highly recommend.

this B and B is very easy to reach from the N2 it was well equipped and excellent value for money the only down side was the complete lack of attention from the owner, other people may consider this a plus but we stay in B and B s because we like the interaction with our hosts

Ok - just ok, you probably can do better

Was all a little bit odd. From the owners introduction, to being offered breakfast (were we or weren't we?), the cat roaming around our room. Saying that the room was nice and spacious, but not the jacuzzi room we had booked. For this there is an extra charge and it wasn't filled up. Personally i think if you charge people a premium for the use of something special within the room this would be included in the price and it would be ready for your arrival. This wasnt a big deal for us but an annoyance all the same. All in all probably the worst value for money we have had in south africa,

Decent place but misleading description

The B&B was very clean, comfortable and had lots of space. My wife and I were on our honeymoon driving the Garden Route and booked a room here as a one night stop. I booked the "Jacuzzi Room" that was described as having a large outdoor hot tub for use by the room occupants, which I though was a perfect way to relax after a long drive before continuing to Cape Town the following day. But, I was told on arrival (around 5pm) that as I had not prebooked it (and paid a another fee) the jacuzzi was not available, and as it takes 10 hours to heat up I would not have a chance to use it at all. Having specifically booked that room I was not impressed that no where does it state this, and the owner did not attempt to contact me before hand to find out if I wanted to use it. It appeared that we were the only guests that night in the entire complex so it would not have been too difficult to email us.

Hier ist kein Ende der Apartheit in Sicht...

Wir waren 2 Nächte im La Bohème. Empfangen wurden wir von einem Dschungel aus Verbotsschildern (nicht rauchen, im WLAN nicht skypen, kein Make-up an das Handtuch schmieren und und und ....) Dazu kam eine lustlose Begrüßung von der Besitzerin die sich den Rest des Aufenthaltes nicht für uns interessierte. Für den Frühstücksservice waren 2 Frauen verantwortlich, die im Südstaaten-Look bedienen mussten. Für uns echt ein Schock .... Die Zimmer waren sauber und mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet.

B&B in Plettenberg Bay

Wir waren in einem seperaten Cottage gegenüber dem Minipool untergebracht. Frühstück heben wir uns auf der Reise hier das erste und einzige Mal selbst zubereitet. Küche bzw. Haus super ausgestattet. Waschmaschine, Toaster, Herd, Backofen etc. vorhanden und wir haben die Chance genutzt unsere Wäsche nach 2,5 Wochen, also Halbzeit durchzuwaschen. Whale Watching in PB war toll. Aber viele Damen haben die Fische gefüttert...;-) Waren zweimal draußen, da beim ersten mal keine Wale zu sehen waren. Haus liegt nah an einer großen Vekehrskreuzung! Straßenlärm ist hörbar. Vermieterin war etwas unentspannt bei unserer Ankunft...angeblich beisst Ihre kleine Meerkatze Kinder unter 12 Jahren und Sie hat ständig Arztrechnungen? Bei uns hat Sie die Meerkatze weggesperrt. Als wir da waren wurde die Auffahrt neu geplastert was etwas nervig war aber keinen Einfluss auf die Bewertung nimmt.

Well appointed rooms. Had a very spacious room and super comfy bed.. Nice hosts. Standard breakfast. One con is that parking is available on a limited basis and even that which is available is a bit odd given the shape of the parking area. WiFi did not pick up well on the second floor.
