Everything about this Lodge was amazing . This was well designed,decorated, spacious, clean , friendly ,breakfast was appetizing. Allover 5 star . Highly recommended. We will be back!

Exceptional Service
We got lost coming to the hotel and spoke with Faith about how to get there. When we arrived at the hotel Faith made the whole experience smooth and easy. We had just finished a 20km hike and were exhausted and she was able to arrange a restaurant to come deliver food and set it up in their eating area below. There was a slight mixup with the hotel rooms but she upgraded us to a nicer room. There was no airconditioning but you got a lovely breeze and the area was safe enough to leave the windows open over night. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was very friendly, but Faith made our stay one of a kind.

Nice B&B in residential area
Cute B&B with great service and a very nice breakfast. The room was fairly small lacking character and actually felt a bit anonymous due to the lack of pictures on the wall etc. Also, there was no A/C so a bit hot for my taste. Overall an OK place that could be great with a little focus on comfort and character

A White Beauty to stay with
We were happy that we chose this place to stay. We opted for Self Catering unit and were excited to see the beauty of the apartment, the pristine white . View was fantastic, interiors were amazingly beautiful, place was fully equipped including a fully automatic washing machine (as it was towards the end of our garden route, came in very handy). Breakfast was so sumptuous and service was excellent. Nice location, close to all key places.

Great location and stop over on the garden route. Particularly well located for access to Robberg Nature Reserve which was the highlight of our time here. Staff were friendly and rooms were good.

Top class service
The service at this hotel was amazing. We have been travelling the garden route and this was the best by far. It’s a lovely hotel and the rooms were really spacious. Would def recommend.

Nice but quite far out of town
The hotel was clean and the room was very nice. However it was much further out of town than we expected which meant that you either had to get a taxi or drive into town for evening meals. There has recently been a bush fire near the hotel and they are rebuilding a lot of the surrounds which makes it a little noisy/ not quite as scenic at the moment but I'm sure that won't last too long.

Great place for a relaxing break.
a lovely property - well away from town - perfect for a relaxing break. Only a short walk away from a superb beach. Staff we're very attentive. Room was quite large and airy. No faults at all.

Amazing breakfast
It started with the freshly squeezed juices, perfectly ripened fruit being used in the fruit salad, what appeared to be a home made granola, marmalade and jams, delicious eggs and nice rich, dark coffee. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and a relaxing comfortable environment.

Well appointed lodge close to the sea.
The lodge is exceptionally comfortable. All rooms have either a private plunge-pool or lounger deck. Rooms are very well appointed. Staff are excellent. Breakfast is good. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk away. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Location
The lodge is convenient to Robberg beach, in a quiet area and felt safe. It is not close to the restaurants or shopping area. Off-street covered parking is provided and the lodge is fairly new and stylish. Rooms are not large but are comfortable and well appointed. Dining area is attractive, breakfast was good and staff well trained and courteous. The only negative point was a bad smell from the shower drain.

It was a good experience from the very start. Christa wrote to me with a list of restaurants so that she could secure reservations well in time. The location is very good, just a walk from the beach and a secure corner with a night guard too. Plenty parking and good security. The room given to me was away from the main building so I couldn't check out the main facilities in my two night stay. Had breakfast in the lounge near my room only. Good breakfast, simple and aplenty. Very good staff. Room was decent sized but the shutters on the door were a pain for us Honeymooners! ;) The bathroom is very good and so are the amenities. Overall a great stay. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Plett.

Light and airy.
We stayed at Christiana Lodge as part of our Garden Route holiday. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but I could quite easily have stayed longer. Our room was very light as it had large glass doors to a balcony and high windows. The room was clean and well appointed with a separate bath and shower. Breakfast was great with plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurt and cooked options. We were able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes but the main town area is a little drive away.

LUXURIOUS STAY AND VALUE FOR MONEY
REVIEW OF CHRISTIANA GUEST HOUSE The enjoyment of this establishment does not suffer due to lack of sea view. There is a quiet enjoyment of the wetlands and surrounding countryside whilst only being a 5 minute walk from an outstanding sandy beach with a panoramic view of the Robberg Nature Reserve. The atmosphere is quiet only interrupted by the noise of the insects and birds. The breakfast is top class; home baked bread and lots of other tasty home cooked fare. The host Christa is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of the local area and beyond and has a keen eye for interior design. She ensures you are aware of things to do and see and will offer tips and advice if necessary. The staff will organize restaurant reservations and taxis if required. One evening we decided to stay in but the staff checked on us to make sure they hadn’t missed making a reservation for us. Christa’s staff are friendly, unobtrusive and professional and as we found out have been with her since Christiana opened. The rooms are outstanding – we had our own garden area with a plunge pool – also a sun trap. The room itself is bright and has many storage areas so you are not cluttering a lovely room with your travel excesses. Value for money and a pleasant and luxurious stay. Go for it!

Only stayed one night at this fantastic hotel and would love to have stayed for longer. The room was fantastic, the staff were great and extremely helpful in assisting us in finding a restaurant and taxis. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Sehr schönes Guest House etwas abseits aber nur 5 Gehminuten vom riesigen Strand.Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten bei einem Supermarkt und/oder der Stadt. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Nice Lodge with excellent service
We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights. We got very valuable tips for activities and restaurants and the staff was always taking care of us. The view and the location to the beach is wonderful. We enjoyed our stay in Plett and this Lodge and would definitely come again.

Super Aufenthalt.
Unser Zimmer war sehr schoen. Alles mit liebe eingerichtet. Die gesamte Unterkunft sieht sehr modern und stylisch aus. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sensationell.

Mit viel Herzlichkeit und Charme
5 Jahre nach unserem letzten Aufenthalt hier wurden wir von der Inhaberin Christa Joubert sofort wiedererkannt und aufs herzlichste begrüßt. Es hatte sich seitdem wenig verändert - das Team reizend und hilfsbereit, die Räume toll und gemütlich eingerichtet, alles super sauber. Das Frühstück hervorragend. Die ruhige Lage dicht am Strand (5 Min. Zu Fuß) einfach klasse. Restaurantreservierungen wurden nach unseren Wünschen vorab aufs beste erledigt. Ein rundum gelungener und entspannter Aufenthalt!

Tolle Unterkunft mit freundlichem Personal
Wir hatten zuerst Zimmer 10 gebucht, das leider keine Aussicht hat außer auf Zaun und Wand. Auf Nachfrage haben wir sofort ein anderes Zimmer bekommen (B2 im separaten Gästehaus mit Gemeinschaftswohnzimmer und Küche für Selbstversorger) mit super Blick, schönem großen Bad. Alles modern und schön eingerichtet. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft. Super Frühstück. Wer möchte bekommt auch erstklassiges Abendessen.

Stilvolles Haus in ruhiger Stadtrandlage
Sehr schöne Unterkunft am Rande von Plettenberg Bay. Die Unterkunft ist sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und die Gastgeberin versorgte uns mit Tipps und kümmerte sich darum, dass es uns stets gut ging. Der Weg zum Strand ist kurz, der in die Stadt jedoch etwas weiter. Nicht auslassen darf man den Robberg Park.

Plettenberg Bay sowie die Christiana Lodge waren ein weiteres Highlight auf unserer zweiwöchigen Rundreise. Der Ort bietet exzellente Restaurants und viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten sowie super Sandstrände.
