The decor always was a strange mix of classical and rather tacky gold painted mock baroc, some of it looking as if it had been knocked up by carpenters on set. - and it quite possibly was. The hotel was initially built for visit ing movie stars, and the current owners have preserved the signed photos of big names who stayed there 40 years ago while filming around Almeria. Hotel rooms we slightly dated. But all bed comfy and nice bathroom. And rooms fitted with a smart tv. It’s a very Spanish hotel which is lovely. Which means the kids club is all in Spanish but a few of the girls speak English which was lovely for our little girl. Food was absolutely fabulous, great options every night plenty to choose from. We have full board and never went hungry. Was a great place to stay

We booked this very last minute having been evacuated from our accommodation in Alfaix due to the wildfires. From arriving to leaving Eddie could not have been more helpful. The rooms, whilst not the most luxurious, were spotlessly clean with an excellent walk in shower/bathroom, fridge and very efficient air conditioning. It’s a bit of a trek up a steep slope from where we parked our car but the views from the roof terrace were worth it. Continental breakfast was good.

Highly recommend! A warm and friendly welcome on arrival with the lady on reception opening the shop for us, out of hours, so we could buy provisions for our stay. Our mobile home for 2 people was clean and modern and had everything we could need. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the decking having some drinks in the evening and coffee in the morning sun. The restaurant was also value for money and again, the staff so welcoming.
