"Standard apartment a little tired and In need of minor renovation ( several cracked floor tiles that move ) but a perfectly comfy and well appointed apartment and kitchen. Air conditioning at an additional cost . It was The 50th anniversary of Carnival and the noise from the celebrations and music till 4am for 3 nights made it impossible to sleep - THIS IS NOT THE HOTELS FAULT but due to the proximity to the Yumbo center it’s impossible to avoid. The day after the carnival finished silenced...

"The hotel is very high standard. Two things were disappointing 1. Hot water issues. Kept running very very hot then very cold. I told reception but didn't heard anything back after reporting it twice. 2. The food quality could have been better. The food next door at the Princess Hotel is better and cheaper "

"After staying here a few years ago, i got a good deal for a week self catering for 2 rooms and this was perfect. Rooms were big and slightly modernised, in the peak summer you would prob struggle with only the ceiling fan, but it was fine in April. Only slight disappointment was no late check out despite checking numerous times."

"The apartments are very nice, clean and well maintained. Excellent powerful shower and constant warm water. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only issue was the noise of the traffic outside which made sitting on the balcony not great (I knew I had booked this side of the building due to the cheaper price but was not expecting the traffic noise to be as bad as it was)."

"Great location , no reception staff two days a week and none after 6pm . You’re given a key for the main gate ( which is kept locked after 10pm ) unfortunately it’s a faulty lock and took ages to try and get in at times , noticed staff and they already knew about it , said nothing could be done . "

"I had a great stay at the Abora during May, lovely hotel in a good location, varied food and good snack bar available out of main restaurant hours. All the staff were so lovely and friendly and helped to make it an enjoyable stay"
