We went in the last week of October and a lot of shops and bars/restaurants were closed for the season which was a shame. We will visit peak season next time.

Didn't like the location adn breakfast quality is poor! On the other side, Staff were amazing 10 points. Same at the bar same at the gugine restaurant. Nice cocktails, pasta and good vibes staff..

Lots of lovely bars and restaurants, walk around the town first to check out ones you with to visit. Make sure you check out Cosmos and Astrea (authentic Greek) need to book these. Make sure you visit Chania and gifts are cheaper than in Platanias.

Everyone here at Platanias is so friendly and nice! Everyone smiles at you and greets you and it’s what really made this holiday, one of the best ones. Definitely recommended!
