"Elotis is an nice little hotel. We really appreciated that housekeeping kept it very clean. Staff was most kind and helpful. Since its a small hotel, staff recognizes you and all receptionist, gardener, bartender nods and say hello when you leave or enter hotel area. "Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean with lovely quality furnishings. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. All the staff were really friendly and the service was excellent. Pool area is lovely with plenty of beds, connected to the beach with use of the hotels sunbeds. Food at the pool bar is lovely. We booked a garden view room which had the worst view of any hotel I have stayed in, roof view with a few plants on it and rotten windows, we didn’t use the balcony once. We had room 317, so if you can avoid that room, I presume 316 and 318 had the same awful view. I don’t think all the garden room views were as bad as ours. It didn’t spoil our holiday in this lovely hotel but was a bit disappointing 😢 The location is great, in a relatively quiet area with a 10 minute walk to platanius where it is a bit livelier. Great hotel with lovely staff, would recommend. "
"The place was great. The people at the front desk, bell staff and housekeeping were the best and most helpful. Our stay was near the end of the season so the restaurant was understaffed and a little slow. On the other hand there are so many great places to eat within short walking distance it didn't really matter. Highly recommended. Next time I will split time between here and old Chania."
"I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant. My family had rented a car so we were a short 20 min drive into old town Chania which was gorgeous. "
