Great food. Easy rude to Placencia but Maya Beach is private with no hussle/ bussle. I will definitely go back.

Placencia Resort
Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay.

Itz'ana Resort & Residences
Loved our stay. Best pool In Placencia which helped as our stay was when sargassum was in the water. Great continental breakfast and restaurant was great for lunch and dinner too. Service was great too. Loved Placencia.

Julia´s Cabanas
Julia’s Cabanas are a bit rustic but clean. It is located directly on the beach and is in close proximity to everything in Placencia Village. The staff was super friendly and made sure that I was enjoying my stay. There was a bar next door that often played music in the evenings. I loved this but ...
