Pool is also very spacious and location was great on oceanfront and variety of restaurants at walking distance. We celebrated 75th bday for my dad. We told the hotel guest services and they provided complimentary pastry, champagne bottle and sweets. That was the highlight. Cons-Nightly entertainment could be improved. "First time vowing Malaga. The hotel was close by to the airport also has a bus stop & trains station within a 5 minute walk great links to the centre. Staff were so friendly & helpful, always greeting us when we entered & left the building. The room was very comfortable (if you’re used to smaller hotel rooms) clean and had everything needed. Will definitely recommend especially if you are solo travelling/ on a budget. 10/10"

Able to answer questions about area via what’s app. The property inside is gorgeous. Really well done. After walking all day in Malaga, I enjoyed the rain shower so much. "I like this hotel and stayed there when the pandemic was still raging elsewhere. However, it's now four years since Covid and things which were effective during that time are still in place. The rooms are quite bare. I asked for an iron to sort out some travel wrinkles and that's what I got and was told to "use the desk" as an ironing board! "Beachfront with pools in nice residential neighborhood – quiet with wonderful view toward Malaga and the hills beyond. Although located near the airport, plane noise was not an issue. Many choices were offered at the wonderful breakfast and the staff were informative and helpful. The view is incredible – you could see cruise ships moving in and out of Malaga, and the room was very comfortable with a teapot with tea and decaf coffee! Outdoor pools closed early, and indoor pool required a swim cap. One issue – room doors closing was extremely loud. The taxi stop is at this hotel, so a 6 am ride was readily available. They even had coffee and pastries for us to go. Close to Malaga and Torremolinos by bus or taxi. About 15 minutes to the airport. Overall, it was a very nice stay at Sol Guadalmar Hotel."
