"There is a guest book at the Rock Inn which dates back to 1903 and it chronicles the experiences of the people who vacationed there. After reading through it one has to agree that it is a special place.
We had a lovely stay at the Rock Inn. Our room was cosy with a comfy bed. We booked our meals in because the food is superb and the service friendly and attentive. We look forward to going back."

someone needs to paint the top of stairs fire door its been scratched to death gives a poor image when everything else is very good
there can be road noise but they even supply earplugs if you want them , tea and coffee fine refilled each day
meals are good value and well presented full english breaky to die for included

"This was our 3rd visit to this lovely comfy Dartmoor hotel. It’s a long time since we were here and I’m delighted by the fact that not much has changed. The food in the restaurant was much more veggie friendly than I remember and we ate here both nights of the stay.
